Now the huge task of trying to retain the roster. I think Nick takes this task as the Last big thing he has to do since his leaving is the reason some may elect to go.

GMac says that DeBoer was “the guy to beat” in the coaching search from the very beginning, but that Alabama did reach out to Lanning, Sark, Dabo, Norvell and Locksley, at least.

Nick Saban cost Texas, Oregon, and FSU 100 million bucks over these next 10 years.

Two days and 200 pages after Saban's bombshell we have hired one of the best head coaches in the nation. Not bad at all! And great to see Greg Byrne earn his salary.
Stressful ride, but with a happy ending, which is astounding taking into consideration that we've had to deal with the end of the GOAT's ride.
Twas fun to see several posters come out of retirement for HCNS's retirement. Haven't seen SummerofGeorge or Cobra, though. Anyone heard from them?

Let DeBoer bring in his entire offensive side and then defensively move TRob to DC and he'll help fill out the defensive side with some more regional guys and heavy recruiters.
