[quote]SEC West is much weaker today than it was then. Freeze was going up against a Mississippi State team that hit #1, LSU frequently as a top five team, Alabama maybe at its absolute peak, Auburn even making it to the NCG, A&M was consistently ranked, Arkansas even had some ranked finishes. Kiffin has had Alabama slightly off, LSU down, Auburn way down, Arkansas down, A&M down, Mississippi State a total joke. You're saying he's done more because he had one more wins in two seasons against weaker competition. Freeze also did things Kiffin hasn't, like beating highly ranked teams[/quote
We’ll shite man. It sounds like you think we should go steal Freeze from the Barn.

There isn't, really. Anything somewhat useful in here has its own thread

So, exactly what 90% of frat boys at Bama are doing? If y'all only knew how much coke is snorted in Tuscaloosa. I know Bama fans scared to send their kids Tuscaloosa because of the amount of blow around there. It's the worst kept secret in town.
You're making his point for him. It should be impossible to draw comparisons between the behavior of a head coach and a frat boy. The head coach at Alabama is the university and the state's most public representative.

So that we don't have 847893 different threads all saying the same shite.

If it’s norvell, I’m out. He’d be the next Mike price. Byrne is no idiot though. He’s not hiring norvell.

Ha, no. I just think Freeze and Kiffin are quite similar.

I was thinking this but didn’t wanna say

Just remember it’s Greg Byrne’s decision but no coach is coming here without NIL guarantees which means the money guys will have a say on this. Think DeBoer will be a hard sell to them

We aren’t looking for the next preacher for our church. We are looking for a damn good football coach.
I swear I think all of you guys that hate Kiffin are just judgmental, holier than everyone else, assholes. Lol

It will never happen.

Probably the women's BB team. Game at UGA tonight

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit. UGA has given Kirby fits on spending money on extra staff and football improvements. He knows we’d give him a blank check like we did Saban.

Greg Byrne has had his eyes on Kalen DeBoer for some time
While we're being fluid with possibilities, I'll add that one of Saban's primary mentors was Don James, who worked with him at Kent State and then proceeded to spend 17 years as the head coach of Washington.

No way we hire someone with only coordinator experience, either.

I say we go back after Saban with a two year mega-deal
