Some of Auburn twitter is acting really secretive about something happening with the coaching staff. Seen one hint at caddy leaving. Anyone know anything about what’s going on or is this just some BS with nothing behind it?

I think he needs to take his Lumps like Etheridge and what not, and then come back. Get mixed up in different networks and bring them back later. Being the favorite RB in Alabama in 2003 isnt helping him recruit.

I don’t see the need to make a change at rb coach. The backs have carried the team the last 2-3 years. Is what it is but if a change needs to be made it at OC first and foremost

Yep, you’re right.
I love Caddy. BUT, all good things come to an end and he’s not irreplaceable as a coach or recruiter.
I’m sure the Auburn fanbase will act accordingly if/when he does leave.

RB room is in good shape, and likely about to get Alvin Henderson. Pushing out Caddy would lose a lot of goodwill with the casual fan base for Freeze. Just don’t see that being the case.
Now if Caddy is leaving for something like Troy job - think everyone would completely understand that.

Agreed. I could see us helping him get a promotion somewhere. Would be shocked if he was pushed out.

hearing both cordinators are being replace and maybe Caddy.
Dont minde either of those. Caddy is an Auburn legend but he hasnt done much and our RBs seem to underperform

Caddy is too important in Auburn history to say we are pushing him out. I'm just suggesting if an Auburn legend wasnt our RB coach, and someone else was, then recruiting might pick up. RB coach isnt that hard of a position so I dont understand the leash we have given him.
