We havent been RBU since Kerryon at least. Purely mediocre since then. I am happy to be embracing passing finally.

False. Caddie has underwhelmed since 2019. Freeze is at least working toward the rebuild.
We stole Caddy from Samford for Christ's sake. Why should he get privilege to hang around as a holdover from two mediocre staffs?

Exactly, but this is what I come here for.
Rumors may be true but nothing has happened yet. On3 board is even worse. It's hilarious.

If they choose to move on from Caddy, so be it. But if I were Caddy, I'd have a tough time taking criticism from a HEAD coach who publicly abdicated his on field responsibilities this past season while tossing his assistants under a passive aggressive bus. Freeze brought in a top ten recruiting class, something Auburn has done 6 out of the last 10 years. Caddy is an Auburn legend who held a team together on the field last season when everything finally collapsed. If Freeze does choose to move on from Caddy, I hope he handles that PR a bit more intelligently than he did the Maryland post-game.

Caddy is Freeze'subordinate. If he does not like that then yeah, he can leave. Having two chiefs is already dangerous enough.

Fair enough. But, again, by the same logic Hugh Freeze is getting a head coach's salary for a recruiting coordinator job this year at Auburn.

Caddy doesn’t have his name tied to a lot of recruits to be sure but not sure how he seems to be becoming some sort of scapegoat. His position group has been one of the 2 or 3 best every year of his tenure at AU. You can nitpick and say tank and jarquez showed up to AU as high end talents and never got better if you want but his group still has performed

He was only expected to win 6 this year. I think you're being little dramatic just because a freerider might have to earn his pay.
