Stop blaming refs and look at UGA's shortcomings in that game.

The game is a lot easier when one team gets much more help from officiating and a stupid playoff committee to help them out.

That pass was clearly incomplete. Any rational casual fan like myself agrees.

This year doesn't even remotely register on a "pain" scale for Auburn football. We had one sucky moment for sure but the sting was lessened by it resulting in UGA nor Bama winning a natty for once.

only 78 yds rushing (UGA's bread and butter stopped) - Bama outrushed UGA - get better blockers than Bama

The running game was not UGA's bread and butter and hasn't been for the last 3 years. UGA for their championship run has leaned on the passing game to build leads, then switched to the running game once they have a big lead to run out the clock.

The fumble was a huge issue as well as the missed FG. But UGA doesn't turn into a run team until they build a lead. If their passing game doesn't accomplish that, they don't have a ton of rushing attempts. They had 23 non-QB rush attempts against Bama, 24 against Auburn and 25 against Mizzou. Those were their closest games. In blowouts? 38 non-QB rush attempts vs FSU, 31 vs Ole Miss, 35 against Tennessee.

UGA's biggest issue against Bama was actually failures on 4th down. UGA gave up two 4th down conversions to Bama, and both were on drives that ended in TD's that could have resulted in 0 points had UGA gotten the stops in those scenarios.

UGA was excellent on 3rd down. But those 4th downs killed them.

Alabama hurried to the line and snapped the ball, Kirby should have used a timeout so they could review it. Kirby's fault.

Dawgs still could have held them to a FG on that drive.

Plain as day

Bama didn't have SEC officials yesterday, and come to think about it, the Texas game in Tuscaloosa featured non-SEC officials as well.

FSUs QB getting injured is why Bama was in the playoffs.

Tell that to the f@ggot gumps who won't accept that those 2 receivers, Metchie and Williams, were not good enough to compete against Georgia without injuring themselves.

Gumps didn't belong in the playoffs. They should have lost to the Barn.

Georgia didn't either, getting kicked around by a team that almost lost to the Barn.

There were dozens of plays on both sides where a different call or different small change could have resulted in a UGA win.

Explain what you mean by “dozens of plays on both sides” and how a “different call or small change” would all “have resulted in a “UGA win.”

This should be good.
