That's where the "high character" players we were supposedly recruiting come in.

I think it was mentioned in another thread, but Bo Scarbrough retired from football. He then tweeted this:
quote:

As I move on from playing football my next step is to get into player development and help young athletes to be smart moving forward and how to carry themselves and be respectful to everyone cause yu never know who you may be talking to. So player development is next for me

HaHa is the Director of Player Development, so hopefully Bo and HaHa are in touch because it'd be really cool to have another former player join the staff.

Watching video explanations of DeBoer's offense, plays move much faster than what we ran last year. One explanation showed how he uses lots of movement pre snap, but the intended play usually employs all that movement to isolate two receiver options - so Milroe would not have to scan the whole field. Also, the offensive line needs to be quick because much pulling for run and pass plays. I guess well see.

That's bound to help, but he's struggled a ton with accuracy as well, in the past.

Some of us have been beta testing the new design for a couple months. Definitely takes some getting used to.

Fan list of RB coach targets that somehow became gospel. Then your normal social media twisting that to be actual sources.

Elevenwarriors.com made a wish list of replacements with Gillespie's name on it and now every poster on that site is salivating at the thought.

However, this seems to be the most recent update from someone named "Austin," who I imagine is Austin Ward, an anOSU football reporter:
quote:

was told that Drayton is legitimately interested, so that is in play. Ohio State has reached out to Deland McCullough and I believe already had some contact with Demarco Murray. I believe the Buckeyes are likely going to be working off that list at this point and should have more than enough to offer to land one if Gillespie winds up out of reach (which Ohio State seems to feel at the moment like he will be).

Eleven Warriors thread

In that thread, someone says a guy on 24/7 is also saying to keep an eye on Tashard Choice as a possible candidate.

Won't lie, seeing Buffalo as the number two team doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies, but hopefully broken plays wasn't an issue on defense.

I'm telling you, that 2023 offensive staff was the worst offensive staff top to bottom Nick Saban had in his stints at Alabama and LSU.

So you're saying Bill O'Brien was better than Tommy Rees? Because all the other offensive coaches were the same in 2023 as in 2022. I was more hopeful with Rees as OC than BOB, the sample size was pretty small, though.
