Missouri absolutely demolished/dominated their o line!
First time tosu shut out in 7 years.

On the OL I don’t think so. They had transfers for days not sure which positions.

No, their offensive line was intact from the regular season.

I don't recall Michigan dominating tosu in the trenches like mizzou just did.

Hard to say considering OSU didn’t have Marvin Harrison, Jr. and the new quarterback got injured in the first quarter. Still, you would think that OSU has a more talented team than Missouri.

You could tell from the first couple of drives in the game tOSU wasn't really fired up as Missouri was.

That's on Ryan Day.

Yeah I can understand not being fired up, but I mean if I'm an offensive lineman I'm gonna have a little pride. Mizzou manhandled them a good bit much of the night. The way mizzou was getting to the qb, idk if the qb or Harrison would have made that big of a deal.

Their center that started every game was inexplicably benched. He dressed, wasn't injured, but didn't play.

3. A new-look offensive line was overrun most of the night.

Ohio State benched center Carson Hinzman, a redshirt freshman who struggled through most of the year but started the first 12 games, in favor of moving senior Matt Jones to the middle.

Senior Enokk Vimahi replaced Jones at right guard, but the new look never seemed to click.

Missouri had defenders in the backfield most of the night, notching four sacks and 10 tackles for loss.

The Tigers were also credited with eight quarterback hits, and they stopped Ohio State runners at or behind the line of scrimmage nine times.

Fourth Quarter their OLine finally figured out how to block some and Missouri got rolling. Two ninety plus drives and taking a knee at the 10.

Ryan Day is not a winner, can't win the big one and the Buckeyes are up in arms.

OSU defense played really well and their Dline looked legit. A defense can only hold up for so long when the offense is as inept as OSU’s was last night using their QB3.

See Iowa against good teams or Bama/Texas for more examples of good defenses getting hung out to dry by the 4th Quarter.

OSU's Oline was toast by the 4th quarter. If you noticed how rarely they subbed their Olineman (a Ryan Day trademark), the Mizzou defensive speed took its toll.

Coaches rarely sub Oline in a game. It’s Dline that gets rotated regularly. Antibarner was referring to Mizzou Oline finally being able to block OSU’s Dline.

QB- avg to poor
Rb - good
OL - avg to poor
WR - ultra elite

Ryan Day can’t run his offense without a plus level QB and I’m not sure he has one on the roster right now.

I’m sure they’ll hit the portal for a QB and look much improve offensively next year, but they lost a lot of weapons to the draft and portal so although it’ll be a playoff team in the expanded era I’m not sure it’ll be enough to achieve any of their goals.

Probably more to being down to their 3rd string QB

I've got a buddy who is an OSU fan, who says the general feeling is that the Kansas State QB is transferring there. One of McCord's primary reasons for leaving was that they were bringing in a portal QB but wouldn't promise him the starting job next year.

That all makes sense and based on what I’ve seen from McCord he isn’t in the same stratosphere as the recent guys Ohio State has had going back to the Meyer era.

Ohio State beats Michigan this year if they had a better quarterback.
