Are teams going to start hanging banners for playoff appearances now?

I could see 20 or so years from now, banners like "Ole Miss 2024, top 12".

I mean most schools have bowl appearances noted in their facilities somewhere. I would imagine the bowl appearance would be celebrated the same way it currently is.
And should schools not celebrate making it to the playoffs? Does LSU not hang banners for NCAA basketball appearances and what round they made it to? And baseball regional, super regional, and Omaha appearances?

Did anyone hang Banners for losing the bcs? I do think teams who win a game in the expanded playoff will start hanging banners. Final four elite eight. Bball teams do it

I imagine they will. It will be like college basketball where you see banners for NCAA tourney appearances, sweet sixteens, final fours, etc.

I don’t see the issue if smaller programs do it. TCU gave out rings for 22 and Tennessee gave their players a life championship.

If they put a permanent thing on the side of their stadium for a conference championship, (spoiler, they didn't even play in the CCG lol) you can bet aggy will commemorate playoff participation in any way they can. Tshirts, cups, banners both in the stadium and flown above pulled by a Cessna.

All runner ups should read “1st Loser”. Then the 12th place team can hang “11th Loser”.
