I'm not sure why it would even bother Alabama fans...?
Daniels deserved it. If there had been any reason he wouldn't have won, it would've been because the voters were obsessed with voting in someone who made the playoffs. The only one going who fit that bill was Penix, who:
1. Had a good season, but was nowhere near Daniels
2. Is expected to see his team lose in the first round

Daniels definitely deserved the Heisman. Only tough defenses Nix and Penick played were each other. Voting for Daniels was a no brainer, which the votes showed - especially in the South.

What do yo expect them to do? They know their head coach is Brian Kelly and they know they can't seriously compete with him so they manufacture fake conflicts so they can "win" at something.
