Oklahoma (2000)
Texas (2005)
LSU (2003,2007,2019)
Alabama (09,11,12,15,17,20)
Auburn (2010)
Tennessee (1998)
Georgia (2021,2022)
Florida (2006,2008)
Why do we even need to play anyone else but us?

You should give an honorable mention to runner ups.

Agreed… 2011 LSU and 2021 Alabama as it was an all SEC final… 2016 and 2018 when Clemson beat Alabama, 2013 Auburn… if we’re including 05 Texas as winners then we should include 09 Texas as runners up… missing anyone? Helluva 25 years!

Missing Oklahoma as runner ups for a few years. '03, '04, '08. Also, if we want to make it last 27 years '97 Tennessee were runner ups I believe and '96 Florida as champs. lol Then everyone wonders why SEC gets some slight favoritism.

When you see these stats it is no wonder other conferences get snubbed for playoff spots. That is truly an amazing stat

What’s crazy about that run is that each one of those years there was another elite SEC team that would’ve won the national championship if it weren’t for Bama

Texas and Oklahomas don’t count, they need to win their own SEC national championships.

Normally, I'm not a fan... but for this (because of the difficulty), I agree.

Bingo. They have won as much as members of the SEC as Texas A&M

If you break it down by 2024 conference alignment:
SEC - 17
ACC - 4
Big 10 - 4
SEC - 17
ACC - 4
Big 10 - 4

2012 Georgia on that runner up list also.

According to some talking heads, the SEC is and has been overrated for years.
My reply.. watch the NFL draft!
It’s not close
