and had a 34-15 (21-14) record with an SECCG appearance

they replaced him with a guy who has only known losing records in Gainesville and it ain't gonna get better next year

Thanks for your concern, want to talk about MAC Kelly? How does he stack up to Coach O?

Dan Mullen would be a great hire for a team with a ton of NIL money to throw around.

Dude can coach.

idk if anyone gets more out of bad QBs than Mullen.

He had a losing record his last year and was showing tell tale signs that he did not give a frick; 0 effort recruiting, defense stopped played (Citadel put up 40+ points, constantly shopping himself to the NFL.

He would absolutely never win a championship at Florida therefore it was the right move to get him out. Is Napier better? Probably not but at least will have more talent left when he goes then when he came.

He kept Trask on the bench while we were very average with the Alpaca. He lost a bunch of QB whisperer cred with that one.

Reliaquest Bowl?
Lsu fan is bragging about the Reliaquest bowl? No one gives a frick about the Reliaquest bowl. One of many unwatchable meaningless bowls.

Florida sucking at football, doesn't change the fact that LSU along with Florida, are falling further and further behind Bama and UGA. And there is nothing Brian "ma faaammmuùuullllleeee" Kelly can do about it. Except, maybe take the Michigan job, when Harbaugh leaves for the NFL.

I'm not sure why they pulled the plug on Mullen so quick
He had bama on the ropes in sec title game and gave MSU a #1 ranking in Starkville

in 2019 he went back and forth with LSU that season

I realize recruiting wasn't up to standards but he could've brought in assistants to do that part for him and with portal and NIL Mullen could've done a lot more with those resources

so 9-3 is good enough for LSU fans? If so, why fire Coach O?

LSU will have one of their best recruiting classes ever in 2025...

O was 11-12 his final two seasons, not 19-7.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. Texas A&M had that 2 years ago. With a national championship winning coach? Y'all have a good coach, that has never won anything

I mean regardless, we have the 3 championships in the last 3 decades. Only Bama has more than us, the right coach comes in and can obviously win so either way Mullen needed to go.

He's never had this much talent either.

We'll take our chances.

So 9.5 - 3.5 is good enough? And only going to get worse with expansion. Like the earlier post said, LSU and UF are losing ground to Bama and Georgia every year. Now we have Texas and Oklahoma added to the mix. UF may be 6-6 for another decade. LSU 8-4 or 7-5 because they won't have the Gators to beat up on every year.
