I’ve said, repeatedly I think Georgia is one of the 4 best.

I think Georgia would beat us or Texas and make it 3 in a row given the chance. I’d have zero problem losing to them, they’re a great team that does things right.

Michigan is the one that doesn't belong. The playoff will prove it. Top four should be: 1. Washington 2. Texas 3. Bama 4. Georgia

But the politically correct answer is

Michigan

Washington

FSU

Liberty

Would that make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy?

Screw that.

Not a shot at who I quoted btw…

The playoff committee picked the 4 best teams from a pool of teams that deserved to be there. There were 5 teams this years that earned a playoff spot and the committee picked the 4 best out of those 5 teams. I’m sure Georgia would be favored over Texas right now. But Georgia didn’t have a conference championship, had the same amount of loses as Texas, and also lost to a team that Texas beat at home. I’m not sure why people can’t understand how the committee came up with their 4 teams. The only question was FSU vs Bama and they Alabama was better.

Both teams would be rested up and Texas spanked Alabama earlier this year. I think UT could win because I think UGA is overrated anyway. They played Ole Miss and Mizzou and that’s it until they played Bama of course. Week non conference schedule too.

Ho hum. All months leading up to the game I heard bama will beat you by 40 yadda yadda. And now the narrative is well milroe wasn't the QB he is now.

So when we beat Washington and bama beats Michigan, we get to hear this all over again.

I'll say this. We win against Washington and I like our chances. But gotta beat them first. If we give penix time to throw then game over. He would pick everyone apart. We have to pressure him. I sure would like to have Johnathan Brooks back for this game.

Would UGA beat Bama?

Would Texas beat Bama right now?

Starting with OM, Bama was another team than the Bama that played Texas.

How many teams have ever beat Alabama twice under NS?

you can't say that, nobody knows who can or can't beat another team. did you think that Auburn would have beaten Bama? they should have but they blew it. did you think that Georgia would have played as bad as they did against Bama. a lot of teams could have beaten Georgia that day. LSU would have scored 40 points that day!

Georgia is the team that got screwed, not FSU.

Wasn’t Oregon favored twice over Washington this year? So obviously Oregon was the better team right?

I agree but I would put FSU 3 and Bama 4. Not because I think they're better than Bama or Georgia I just want an easy first game.
But you're right those cheaters should be omitted from the playoffs I don't know how they were able to avoid that noise.

Well Texas beat Alabama, and Alabama beat Georgia, so Texas could beat Georgia.

Georgia would have beaten every team in the top 4. Unsure about Bama.

I’ll give you 12 months before this kind of “logic” is forever altered. SEC is a different beast. Next year will be a rude awakening for the horns and Sooners.

I’d put up our front seven against anyone’s. And that’s typically the difference in this conference.

They did not go with the 4 best. That’s the ultimate cop out. UGA, Bama and Ohio State would all stomp Washington, and had Bama not had 2 miracles against juggernaut Auburn they would’ve gone with a different team and said “it’s about the 4 best teams”. 2 miracles does not determine whether a team is top 4 or not.
