The committee knows this team would be nothing but a sacrificial lamb in the playoff.

I thought it was cool as frick to see all five or six guys on the fox pregame giving Florida State no shot. They have no financial interest in the SEC at all. So that's about as neutral opinion as you can hope to hear. ESPN, they've got money to make off us. But all the fox guys saying that the Florida State game doesn't matter speaks volumes in my opinion. It doesn't hurt seeing that Vegas has Louisville as the favorite in this game. Everybody knows Florida state would get cornholed by anybody in the playoffs.

Still have no faith in this committee, who has given 'Bama no credit for anything all season while propping up the Pac 12, to put the Tide in over an undefeated and clearly worse team like FSU.

Ultimately Michigan vs Alabama / Washington vs Texas would be an incredible draw.
If FSU gets in or Alabama gets left out at all it will be proof that the playoff committee was full of shite in saying it’s about the 4 best teams and that the “4 most deserving” is not even in the conversation.

If "undefeated" is a deciding factor, then Liberty has a better case than FSU playing in a similar level conference.

If they had to bet their last dollar on it, no one on the committee would take FSU over Texas, Bama, UGA, or OSU in a playoff semifinal game.

They know they aren’t even one of the top 6 best, but I still think they put them in the playoff.
