It’s amazing what Saban has done for Bama. Without him y’all would be 3rd in the West.
I find it humorous how Bama & Auburn traded off going to ATL many of those years!

I doubt it.
Bama went in in 92,93,94,96 and 99 before saban was even in the SEC. Before you say muh, 1993, Bama won the west in 2002 as well.

Only if we'd stopped playing football for the past 15 years.

Meh. Two bad coaches and 12 years.
LSU didn’t get one until the 10th year of the CCG (2001), and 1986 was their last SEC championship before then.
This is not a “But, LSU…” thing. Just saying that in the years we have been here, most teams have not been in the CCG, and bad hires happen.
Now, if you want to point out that we just carried over a streak from the Big 12 that went back to 1998, I’ll just see myself out.

Yeah, it's not like Bama had any coaches ever win the SEC or even the West before Saban

This is really the most surprising thing to me if you told me this in 1992 that by 2023 UT would have only won the East 4 times.

LSU had to vacate games in 2012, giving Texas A&M the West championship, right?

You guys do realize that the only reason y’all won that game is because Bama had just played the epic game at LSU the week before, right? AJ Mccarron was crying after the LSU game. They had zero focus for that A&M game.

It's amazing what Alabama probation did for the barn. Without it, y'all don't have half your championship game appearances.
