Seems like these schools landed some good hires!

Does Leonard follow Elko?

Does Roger’s stay in Starkville?

I may be in the minority here but I want Payton Throne to return after the guts he showed against Georgia and alabama. He had little to work with at WR and is able to run the ball effectively when needed. I hope we give him another chance with some better WRs and an improved offensive line.

I think we go after another transfer qb to add depth and allow for competition. I think Ashford leaves. Wish he would try another position but I doubt it.

I’m in this camp as well but I still think we need to bring in a transfer for depth and competition. I don’t think Rogers is a good fit but Riley would work in Hugh’s system.

I really think Thorne in year 2 could do really well especially if we bring in more WR/OL talent.

If we land all the great receivers on the wish list and they can enroll early I think Thorne would be a different qb. He doesn't seem to have confidence in his receivers this year.

I care a whole lot less about Miss St now that we don’t play them every year… Elko is a solid hire, way better than Stoops imo.

I have complained all year about Thorne, but any QB who is willing to lower his shoulder and try to run thru bama’s LBs is ok by me.

Hope Thorne stays just know we have a QB with a good grasp of the offense but also hope we go full bore in the portal for a QB or two.

Yeah I was also pretty critical of him early on but dude brought the wood for our bigger games. If he puts on a little bit more weight and time in the weight room to build some lower body strength, he could become a legit dual threat in the Hurts mold.

Heck in the IB yesterday there were some key and crucial drops that could have put bamuh on the ropes with us up two scores and we could have scored at least 28 points which would have won it. Getting that fg and not a TD also hurt.

His running became a huge part of the package. That also open the door for a lot more hits.

MSU did well to get Lebby. He will need to hit the ground running and see what he can shake out of the portal.

I think it's pretty much a slam dunk Ashford is gone as a grad transfer (He's been in college since 2020). I also think Geriner has a good probability to hit the portal as well. Don't know enough about him since Harsin or Freeze ever gave him much of a shot to prove anything on the field. So that potentially leaves us with Thorne, Brown and White.

Have to hit in the portal this season.
