I HATE to tell you guys, but Bama is out unless some wierd stuff happens.

I agree with the sentiment that leaving out the SEC champ at 12-1 is a crazy thing to do. So don't blame me...
But, that is exactly what they are going to do unless certain teams lose ahead of us.
There was a slight possibility that we might make it until last night.
Now it comes down to hoping that others screw up.
The only way Bama gets in without the other dominoes falling is a BIG win over Georgia ... at least two touchdowns... at least.
It's just a wierd year. Normally the SEC Championship would be win and your in. Not this year .
I hate it as bad as you do.
But, its reality.
The wierd thing is, should GA lose, they might just fall to 4 and stay in.
That's why we have to beat that arse but good.

All we can control is winning the SEC. the playoff bracket is a beauty contest with many of the judges having no damn clue what they’re looking at on a football field.

If we were to beat UGA and get left out, then the playoff this season would be pretty illegitimate IMO. My opinion doesn't really mean much, so it's whatever. Is what it is.

Your entire premise is false because really only one of the following favorites need to lose for Alabama to be in; Texas, FSU, or Michigan.

This won't happen, at worst, we're #5 and Georgia is #6 in that scenario.
Not worrying about it though- just win the SEC. If CFP happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

Maybe this is just borderline blasphemous to say as a Bama fan, but I’m just happy we’re even in the SEC championship game at this point. If you had asked me where I thought we finished back in September I honestly was afraid we would lose multiple games and that sucked to think about. Beating UGA would be a dream. Ready for some revenge.
