Do we still need help?

Providing we beat Georgia, which I think will happen. That would be the best win in the country but we didn’t exactly help the eye test yesterday.
Seems like the PAC 12 is in. Probably still need either an Iowa, Louisville, or Oklahoma St. victory Saturday.

I think we need to beat Georgia convincingly.

Yep we do. One of those teams listed in the last part would need to. I thought Florida was going to help last night but they faded quickly.

We ain't beating Ga convincingly

I think we are win regardless. Winners of SEC, PAC and B10 are in.
The pick is between Texas and FSU, which Texas has the better resume.

Yes. We're going to need help.

Nope. Undefeated FSU is in.
Now, if Louisville beats FSU and we beat UGA, we're in. Four conference winners. Simple.

Nothing has changed from three weeks ago when we needed help.

We need one of those teams to lose this weekend.

Florida State and Texas need to lose, especially if the Committee does what I think they're going to do and move Ohio State to #7 while keeping us at #8.

An undefeated FSU and a 12-1 Texas with a H2H win are not behind us, ever.
We need FSU to lose at minimum. Michigan, UW/Oregon, Texas, Alabama would be the final four

Only 1 needs to lose. You don't have to worry about Ohio State.
Beat Georgia and you jump them.

Yes we do
We have to beat UGA and then hope for an FSU or Texas loss.

A 12-1 Bama with 11 straight wins, including 4 wins over ranked opponents, beating the 2 time national champ and #1 ranked team on a neutral field gets in.

Anyone that thinks this way isn’t being logical. We need TX or FSU to lose.

We've done almost all those things already and we're still sitting at #8.
We need help.

A 13-0 FSU without their best player isn't getting in over a 12-1 Alabama.
Texas? Maybe you could worry. FSU isn't an issue.

No, they don’t.
Oregon has a single ranked win and is at 6 currently. We’re at 8. The committee re-ranks on a weekly basis, it doesn’t sticky teams to a spot and move them up and down. The committee views Oregon’s strong margin of victory, game control, and quality of loss as exceeding our resume. This has been the trend for weeks.
We are not leaping a head to head Texas loss with similar resumes. If you nullify that, there is no basis for having head to head as a qualifier and no reason for doing strong out of conference scheduling whatsoever.
Going into the final week, Texas can add a #19 OSU, Alabama a 13-0 #1 Georgia, and Oregon a #4 13-0 UW. The issue being that Texas can’t improve their resume beyond Oregon, but the head to head means we can’t take the playoff spot from them.
If Oregon/Texas/Alabama win, then it’s basically between us and Oregon for that final spot. If Oregon is in, we’re out. If we’re in, Texas is the #3 seed. The latter seems incredibly unlikely.
The committee does not care what Georgia did the last two years. Those are two different teams. They care about resumes in the current year.
And to reiterate, An undefeated power 5 champion is not getting leaped by a one loss power 5 champion. Stop with that “we’ll jump FSU” nonsense.

I think committee puts us in over Oregon. We would hold the cake on every single metric there is.

I disagree.
We need help. Not being dd4bama here - but I just don't see us getting in this year
