However not even sure we can buy our way out.

Loss was expected. However the past few years have really made me question the time sink, money, stress over a football team.

The shitty facilities and awful parking and traffic are just icing on the cake

OP must be a tourist. Anyone with a lick of experience in Auburn knows where to park and the side roads to get out of town.

I want to donate, but I demand a program where when I die, Auburn football players and coaches serve as my pall bearers.

That way, they can let me down one last time after I’m gone.

I parked at Safety Parking lot and got out of town pretty easy then as well. I would guess 20 minutes.

Last few times I have been in Tuscaloose I waited in the parking lot (near the rec fields and the nursing school) that I paid to park for upwards of 1 hour and 20 minutes as there was stndstill traffic on the road and a cluster of standstill traffic in the parkinglots as all the cars were just lining up to leave.

So our accomodations could get a lot worse...

Why would I Donate to support Auburn athletics when they have taken every opportunity to monetize every aspect of gameday and destroy the gameday experience?

In my opinion they have the money. Now they better start doing shite with it.

Every single school has sold their souls to the new world that is NIL. It’s not just exclusive to Auburn.

Not to mention, every facet of society is behind paywall now to monetize anything that can possibly rendered a service. I have been going back to the gym for a couple months now that overtime has slowed and I went back to my favorite workout tracker app that I used before the pandemic and that motherfricker is behind a paywall now so now I bring a blank notebook to the gym.

Man. It's exhausting. I'm not surprised when people tell me they don't have season tickets. It's a financial commitment not just for the tickets but for the game weekends. Everything is pay here, donate this, buy this experience. I got irrationally angry when they decided to sell the tiger walk experience. So stupid.

Not even going to talk about the stupid arse tents in the corners of the field

I've parked by the railroad tracks many times so I can head out on 14 towards Nostalgia to get to I85.

Nah. I'm good. I liked it WAY better when there was at least the illusion of amateur athletics. No way I'm subsidizing a state funded institution that's running a for-profit farm league for the NFL.

I just did pre-this whatever we are calling this.

Ef these mf'ers, they only want money. I hadn't been to AU since Chris Todd played ULM. Jib cranes everywhere, sushi bars, Korean BBQ, golf simulators. Where is the $0.99 hamburger? They have all the money. Trash is all we get. Ef them, the coaches, the dumbass players, all of them. Muff punt, rushing 2, first series. Running QB goes backward, passing QB runs for 18 yards. Stupid mf'ing play calls all year for this. No beer in the stadium. Holy, mf'er where's the Tylenol?

FTR, son only wants to be an engineer at AU. Told him Let's Go! AU grads make more!

Dude seriously? You’re looking for $0.99 hamburgers in Auburn? That’s your indication of a money grab by the university? It’s 2023 and A LOT has changed since Chris Todd was the QB. You might want to leave your Fairhope bubble from time to time.

Both the City and the University have lost their identity, their culture, and thus their charm.
