Lowest Point in AU History

Auburn has been terrible before (like in '98, 2008, 2012), but this is different for several reasons.
1) UGA/Bama are both on historic runs when that wasn't the case back then. Bama has won 6 titles and UGA is about to set a record by winning their 3rd in a row. These just happen to be AU's two biggest rivals.
2) LSU is on a good run, not dominant, but they will win championships every few years. This wasn't the case in the 90's, for instance (LSU sucked then).
3) Ole Miss, Carolina, UK are all better programs right now. There is zero reason a recruit should pick AU over any of those teams.
4) Bo Nix couldn't hit the broad side of a barn at AU, but now that he's at Oregon, he is going to win the Heisman (if not win, he will be final 3 in NYC). It just shows how poor of coaches Gus and Harsin both were.
And tonight we experienced the worst loss in Auburn football history. Not the most "heartbreaking" or anything like that, but the most embarrassing ever. I honestly laughed.
I will stop here, but it's just a low time in AU football history.

Auburn lost to John L fricking Smith in 2012 and it wasn't even close. Theres not much lower than that.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving fan base

I'm not buying it. Auburn will look like Georgia next Saturday.

AU football is dead and it ain't coming back. I would say shut it down, but it makes them money even if the team sucks. So they obviously aren't going to do that. What they should do is just hire some random coach, pay him about a million with no buyout, and just keep the team around for ESPN money. All serious resources need to be diverted into basketball and other sports.
Yeah, the program is in a bad place, but what a pussy take. All programs have highs and lows. Just part of it.

Now the 5 stars we have committed are gonna flip to UGA or Bama. Just watch. They usually flip on signing day and I doubt it will be any different this season. REC will throw a bag and get them.
I wouldn't imagine any reputable team would wish to have a recruit that committed to auburn.
It shows a lack of proper judgement and very poor decision making skills. Keep 'em.
Not only that, but what if they spread around acquired diseases like foot and mouth disease, bluetongue, bovine tuberculosis, or psoroptic mange? It seriously is not worth the gamble.

In 2012 Auburn didn’t win a single conference game. The next year they won the conference and nearly won the BCSNCG. If you’re not used to the abject schizophrenia of Auburn yet, then I don’t know what to tell you.

Thompson and Coleman should think twice.
