All 3 big games were all suspect this weekend. I’m glad my Rebs pulled off the W but the refs did everything they could to let Jimbo survive. It was sickening.

REC did good work trying to keep Jimbo in College Station. His incompetence is too much for even the REC to keep contained.

Confirmation bias is real. Go look at the UGA mizzou thread. Bogus PI’s and missed blatant facemasks went against UGA with no one saying anything, but anytime UGA benefited from a call it was like the apocalypse was happening. Neutral parties generally have the better grasp

WHat LSU fans are missing is Turner did get called for roughing. Its not like they turned a blind eye to the hit. They just didn't think it was targeting in the heat of the moment. It was just a fast judgment call that still wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game.

The guy's born and raised (and still lives in) Lafayette Parish. He's probably never been out of LA except to officiate a football game.

SEC refs suck and need to be overhauled.
A good first step would be to make them year round full time employees instead of temporary part time employees. You're just not going to get excellence from people who do it as a side gig.
