The 3rd down pass deep in our territory to Frazier that went for a 1st and Wade was blocking downfield. This was not an RPO it was a called play, no reason to be six yards downfield. Did you see after we failed on the next play to get the first. As they came off the field Freeze was five yards on the field and started chewing Wade and our OL coach pushed Freeze aside, said hold my beer, and just torched Wade.

Marcus Haris, I love you brother, but its 3rd and 27 wtf did you have to tackle the running back in the middle of the line for and get def holding and an auto 1st down?

Brown, I know there are some fans out there. But you are on the sidelines where the sticks are, you have done this before, Freeze has publicly lamented it, its 3rd and 8......and you run a six yard dig route and are tackled short of the first. When a running back fumbles they make him carry a football around campus. Id like to see Brown walking around campus with an abacus strapped to his belt.

You’re so right, Carl.

What I can’t tolerate is lack of wrapping up a ball carrier.

All three situations really bothered me also, but it's apart of a team learning to win again. I swear over the years I've watched bad teams find ways to lose that boggle the mind. I never felt a full meltdown approaching yesterday, but you could tell that these guys don't have a winning mentality as a WHOLE. I'm honestly more disappointed that it took Freeze 6-7 games to simplify everything so the guys could play like they did yesterday. If you know that the team doesn't fully understand the offensive concepts, then why didn't you make this adjustment after Cal? Dial it all back so we would've had a chance against Texas A&M.

There has never been a perfect game played by any player. I’m celebrating this one.

People can complain all they want but I am with you. I saw a team that had some major improvements no matter the opponent we faced. Proud of Auburn.

I’m all for discussion but I have no complaints about coaching or players yesterday. Yes we went very conservative on both sides of the ball in the second half but without turnovers I was with the coaches I saw no way they come back and win.

I'm not asking for perfection brother, but that was a night and day difference primarily because they played one guy and simplified everything. I'm saying I wish the coaches made this change quicker. I'm absolutely elated that they won

I’m convinced Hugh called the first half plays and Montgomery called the second half plays. There was a pretty stark difference to me with the run game for one.

The offense is better with tempo. But the coaches don’t want to go with tempo against the Ole Miss and LSU. After up 3 TDs they settled the tempo down this weekend.

I want to see the offense go balls to the wall for at least three quarters and put up 34-45 points on Vandy next week.

Ah, the ol' opposite of the "meddling Gus." I wonder when it'll flip for Hugh?

Gus got cute and predictable. I’m hoping Hugh’s ego stays out of the way. I believe what we saw the 1st half is a lot closer to what he really wants the offense to look like each week. I just hope it wasn’t a flash in the pan for the rest of the year. We can win out if we look that balanced going forward but could go 1-3 if we look like the rest of the year.

Coming from one who has been a player, a coach and an official .....I stand and shake my head at times only to remind myself ......'There were times playing ....when you looked just as stupid as what you just saw."

I’m sure I’ll be corrected of I’m wrong, but I always thought that there couldn’t be “defensive holding” of a running back at or behind the LOS.

Wade was blocking downfield

Can't be run blocking on a pass play but he was freshman lineman of the week or something like that so I give it a pass.

This tbh was an effort penalty - DLineman sniffs out screen and gets too excited ends up holding. Good teaching moment.

This is receiver 101... should never ever happen.
