Scenario 1:

LSU wins out - Alabama loses to Auburn - Ole Miss wins out (Ole Miss wins the west)

Scenario 2:

LSU wins out - Alabama loses to LSU but wins the rest - Ole Miss wins out (3 way tie - Could be any of the 3 depending on multiple factors)

In both scenarios, LSU needs Ole Miss to lose again.

Stop crying losers! You should be use to failure by now it’s all you’ve ever experienced.

Ole Piss fans are more butt hurt this season than I’ve ever witnessed.

If LSU beats Alabama then (assuming Ole Miss wins this weekend and beats A&M that same day), as of Sunday morning, theoretically nobody controls their own destiny. All 3 would be dependent on somebody else - either one of the other 2 losing or their East opponents winning enough for the tiebreaker.

Ole Miss doesn't either. Why are you worried about us?

Not in scenario 2, we just need Mizzou and Florida to combine for better records than the combination of UGA/Vandy and Kentucky/Tenn.

But the premise of the thread is correct, LSU technically doesn't control their destiny, only Bama does in the West at this point.

Well luckily, Ole Miss is gonna lose again so we aren’t gonna have to worry about it.

Yeah, this is going to cause a lot of sleepless nights. But it should do wonders for my stock in Porcine Aeronautics.

By definition destiny is not something that can be controlled.

Only Bama controls its destiny. Simple as that. But for Ole Miss to have any chance at the West, they need LSU to win in Tuscaloosa. An LSU loss pretty much guarantees Alabama playing in Atlanta.

Right now the only teams that control their own destiny are Alabama in the west and UGA/Mizzou/UF in the east.

If UGA wins the next two games (UF and Mizzou), they could have the east locked up on November 4th (will be true if UT loses to UK, if not UGA would need one more SEC win or a UT loss the following week).

Bama could lock up the West on 11/4 with a win over LSU as well if OM loses to either Vandy or A&M. If not they can lock it up with a win over UK or a UGA win over OM on 11/11.

The next two weeks will largely sort out the SEC.

If you look at the games it looks like LSU would win the West based on that scenario BUT LSU beating Bama is a tall task for a team with a bad defense and Ole Miss is gonna get skull drug by UGA so I don't think this scenario is even realistic.

This will happen. Ole Miss always shits in the bed when the chips are down at the end.

If it comes down to the scenario #1 I wouldn't be surprised at all if Saban threw the Auburn game just so LSU wouldn't win the west
