Since joining in 2012, Missouri has more SEC Championship appearances than LSU

This recruitment isn't over. In an interview minutes after the announcement Wingo's Dad said they're still open to being recruited (counter offered) by Missouri. In a few months I wonder if both programs might not be questioning if this kid and his Dad are truly worth it.

The interview

This is just stupid. Missouri is by far LSU’s best win currently, and them finishing 10-2 could actually really benefit LSU in a potential 3-team tie-breaker to to get to the SECCG or, less likely, to possibly get into the playoffs if there’s a bit of chaos and everything breaks LSU’s way. The only way to overcome 2-losses, which no payoff team ever has, is to have some good wins on the resume. Potential road wins at 10-2 Missouri and 10-2 Bama, and a defacto road game win against 12-1 Georgia is the best we can hope for as far as resume.

I like Drink, and, even though it may not matter, Missou being 9-3/10-2 is much much better for LSU than if they’d gone 5-7/6-6. And with the East being pretty average after Georgia, I’m happy that a team on our schedule has stepped up this year that appears to be the 2nd best team in that division.

I don’t understand any animosity from LSU fans toward Mizzou.
