Yea, I don't get the whole defeatist attitude, the hell with UCONN, lets hit some threes and beat those guys. Kansas beat them by 4, Seton Hall 75-60 and Creighton beat them 85-66 and UCONN beat St. Johns 95-90 in the Big East Tourney. So, they are not invincible.
I like playing them first, we will not be dreaming like, HEY we made the final 4 we will be locked in because we know we have to be. We played UCONN last year and it was close late, like 56-53 with 7 minutes left, if we hit shots, as usual, we will be in the game.

yea theyre damn good but not nearly as invincible as people make them out to be. people slept us on all year and at times rightfully so but bama making history tonight is no fluke. we do belong here. hopefully we get to be healthy and show them what the best offense in the country is all about then sprinkle in the improved D with the same massive balls our guys have had all year and who the hell knows. i like our depth over theirs as well.
alright, back to needing a new liver. congrats bama fam, esp you savage OG's and junkies. rtr

Clemson even played pretty well in the second half, and we just answered every single time.
Stevenson himself hit 3 threes in the second half.
His first one came right after Clemson had cut the lead to 49-47. His second came after they’d cut the lead to 52-49. His third came right after they’d cut the lead to 62-59. All huge shots - most right after Girard had made a 3.
Over the last 13 minutes we never lead by less than 3, even though Clemson cut it to 3 a bunch of times. Answered everything.

During the Clemson press conference their coach and players gave us a lot of credit and tipped their hat. Kept referencing how great and high level the game was.

Question at 8:32
What does it feel like to get to elite 8 after 20 years?

Roll Tide. Very happy for the team and the long suffering basketball fans. Hell, even the newbies should enjoy this one. Final Four! Still hasn’t sunk in yet tbh.
Love our coach. Love this team. Sears is the man. Roll Tide.

I remember skipping class my first year in Tuscaloosa to get drunk, eat Wingstop, and watch Gottfried’s elite 8 run come crashing down.
Those were great times. These are much better. To see where the program had come to in 5 years with this coach, unbelievable.

Griffen stopped the two most important runs the last two games with a 3. Kid is clutch.

I can’t remember if it was a 3 from Griffen or Stevenson but one of them hit another 3 right after Girard hit one. Clemson called timeout and going to the media you see Girard cover his face and laugh like “damn these boys can’t miss anything”

After the frontcourt had been the weakness of the team for most of the season it's fitting that we get Grant Nelson, Nick Pringle, and Jarin Stevenson legacy games in the tournament. Couldn't be happier for those guys.

It might've been Griffen.
Girard started hitting some difficult three's late in the game so kudos to him.
