We aren't that good. And caused most of our own problems. But cmon man. That was ridiculous. That's how you get a QB hurt

Yeah if you rewatch the play a lot of the players had stopped

Same reason a lot of the defense stopped on the play. They didn’t want to be flagged for a late hit.

If you hit him there, you WILL draw a flag, Gomer. In principle I agree that's where to hit him, but in practice the flag football rules won't let you do it when trying to sack a QB.

It was kind of a lose-lose situation. Yes, one or more of the other guys SHOULD have come over and knocked the crap out of him but most likely would have been called for roughing the passer. Or, just let it play out and see what happens.

Jefferson is a HUGE guy though.

I never felt sure watching it that Arnold was going to take him down. No problem with the play on there. Arnold has to go lower.
