Prediction: Bama and UGA both lose this weekend Posted by WhiskeyRiverBlues on 10/3/23 at 5:40 pm Both just appear to be not playing anything close to their overall talent levels right now. UGA is literally one Brock Bowers injury away from being a mediocre team. Never seen a tight end be as much as a game breaker at the college level as Bowers. He's their entire offense basically along with maybe Mchonkey. I really believe Kentucky has a better overall team this year and so does A&M opposed to Bama.

That’s what you had to say before the KY game..

Everyone should stop feeding this alter troll. Leave his stupid posts unanswered and let them float eternally in cyberspace until someone finally kicks this goon off the platform.

When was the last time Tennessee was the number one ranked team?

UGA's running game was a problem, largely due to injury. This week was the first one where UGA had both their #1 and #2 backs healthy for a full game (Milton got hurt against SC, Edwards didn't play until SC).

With those two healthy, UGA had 173 yards rushing vs UK.

Our #3 back is out for the season. Our #4 back is still injured, but when he returns UGA will be solid at the RB slot. Right now we've been using a converted WR as our #2 back and a walk on as our #3.

Yesterday's game makes me fairly confident in our running game once we have our depth back.

Who tf is down voting me? You know damn well SEC powerhouses can ALWAYS run the ball well.

The UGA offense is doft besides Bowers. Beck looks like a decent QB but you really expect him to win a NC without a real ground game? Not going to happen.

Why can't you just be honest and say yeah you are right we need to bring our running game like we did against Kentucky to every game if we want yo when a championship?

Keep that same energy when you come to Neyland. We are going to get our yards on the ground you can bet.

Wtf does back to back national championships on previous years has to do with THIS year? UGA had a ferocious ground game in those seasons.

As a little 12 fan you wouldn't understand the significance coming from your soft arse air raid attack conference.

No one is trolling you fricking moron.

I'm bringing up something that anyone with a brain at UGA would also be concerned about.

There's a bunch of frickin dumbass sidewalk fans who just started watching football on this board it seems. I bet hardly anyone here actually played the sport growing up.

The lack of UGA concern is because UGA finally had their top 2 backs healthy and ran the ball well.

It's pretty clear that the reason UGA wasn't running it well is that because of injuries they were running a 3-star WR as the #2 RB and a walk-on as the #3. They were bumped down to #3 and #4 against UK due to Milton coming back from injury... and it showed that we're okay with that.

When we get our #3 RB back, it will be even better.

New dawn, new day, those old stats haven't mattered for the past 5+ years. Offenses work very differently now and defense has yet to catch up.
