Some WEAK penalties called yesterday

Some were pretty evident, good calls (false starts) but some were complete and utter BS. The roughing the passer on Braswell for patting Max Johnson on the head was weak. When they called that, I thought he'd knocked the crap out of him and then I saw the replay. WEAK call.
The call on Turner on that blocked FG was pretty weak. Yes, he should've just let the guy go and not given the refs a reason to call it but it wasn't like Turner just completely knocked the crap out of the guy. I've seen a gazillion plays similar and it's not called.
The unsportsmanlike calls were pretty weak. Players talk a lot of crap all game long. It happens. If they were going to call that on our guys, they damn sure needed to be calling it on them too because I saw their guys running their mouths the entire game.

Texas A&Ms TE hawked Moore down after his touchdown and somehow it ended up as offsetting

The refs were BAD. The blocked kick TD call is inexcusable. The guy that made that call should absolutely be ashamed of himself. Those refs did everything they could to steal that game. BAMA was playing two teams out there.
We are fortunate to get out of there with a W.

I don't usually like to complain about refs, but this was pretty shitty job. They were obviously looking in our direction more often than the other... Now, the obvious ones on our O line were ridiculous and someone should be running laps.

The blindside block call on Turner was egregious. Horrendous. Ruined an incredible play. Should have been 31-17. Ball game.
Braswell was robbed.

It was eerily reminiscent of the phantom PI that cost us the TSIO last year.

Several times Aggie players stood over and taunted Milroe. No calls. The SEC has the worst officiating in the country.

Opponent taunting Alabama’s players is spunk. Alabama taunting opponent’s player is bad sportsmanship. At least that is the framework when you got some brainworm’d coonass as the lead official of a crew.

Hell, even a couple of the false starts i was rewinding to see who moved and I couldnt see it. Like they called someone for taking a bigger breath than normal on a couple. They were absolutely LOOKING HARD for Bama infractions that’s for sure.

Refs were terrible. Just shameful bordering on suspicious.

Good point. Was this the same crew?

And to think head of officiating is a Bama alum

There was a horrendously missed holding call up the middle on what I think turned into a huge play for aTm
One of our guys busted through the line and was hugged/held/close lined from behind for a solid 3 steps while the QB or whatever scrambled to their left for an eventual huge play.
There’s no fricking way a ref didn’t see it.

They called two in a row on us, and I saw none of our guys move on the replays.
And there was definitely one play where an A&M Olineman flinched and they didn't call them for a false start.

seems to me these refs have marching orders to keep bama's games close as possible. whether it be for gambling purposes, tv ratings (we all know tv ratings go up whenever bama is on the verge of getting beat) or the sec office is just tired of bama. i reallyhave no clue. but at this point i have no doubt theres a fly in the ointment somewhere.

Go to the 1:00 minute mark. Two straight false starts called on 77. Both were bullshite.
The first one you would have to be looking at the slow motion frame by frame to tell if he slightly moved a millisecond before the ball was snapped.
The second he absolutely did not move. That is an official just completely seeing something that didn't happen, making something up. Why the hell would you do that on a false start call?

idk I thought that when watching the game, but watching that clip it does seem like he ever so slightly rocked back on both of those plays right before the snap.
