Doesn’t auburn have the worst passing offense in the nation?

I don't know. I do tend to believe that Texas A&M's weakness is their secondary, and that is something that Alabama will have trouble exploiting.

Do you think Alabama has improved since Texas blew them out?

Alabama's offense plays to Texas A&M's strength. I think it will be a close game.

But, did you watch the Miami game? TAMU's secondary is LSU level bad.

Are you under the impression you have Bryce Young back at QB?

Auburn only got 56 yards passing against A&M.
They got 88 yards against Georgia and we felt like our secondary would be a strength this year.

Just saying “Miami blew them out” is already starting with kind of a distortion. Miami never led by more than two scores and it was an 8 point game with under 5 minutes left.

The A&M offense had no problem moving the ball in the game.

This is a very lazy take. Yardage was about even, A&M had TOP, and 10 more first downs.

Unfortunately 2 ill timed turnovers made the difference. But let’s not act like Miami shut down the A&M offense. Because they didn’t.

and started blitzing since Miami

Giving Milroe man to man coverage is probaly what Bama wants A&M to do. He struggles mightily against zone coverage and in terms of passing reads he is more effective against man and it opens up his best attribute as a passer - the deep ball against man coverage He can also burn a blitz with his legs if the blitz is undisciplined. Will be an interesting decision for A&M d-coordinator.

No, it's not a lazy take. If not for some Miami turnovers the game was a blow out.

Miami had 1 TO. A&M had 3.

A&M had 25 first downs.
Miami had 16 first downs.

Total yardage was 451 to 433 in favor of Miami.

This is what I've liked about the TAMU DL in the past 3 games. They got penetration, but maintained their lanes and collapsed the pocket pretty evenly. There weren't many avenues for escape.

We know Milroe can scramble and will be able to get yardage with his legs. He’s a great runner.

But against Texas he was only worried about running the ball and dodging pass rushers, and didn’t scan the field for open receivers. That’s the idea….

I know Miami gave y'all good field position twice I believe. Y'all took advantage. Once Miami stopped that y'all were done.

Max Johnson>>>Jaylen Milroe

Our D has definitely improved.

I have a hard time remembering 'bama without a QB that was a Heisman contender.

Should be a great game Saturday

You sure about that?

We had 7 drives of over 60 yards.

Two of those ended with a turnover. Otherwise we would have scored.

I say both Aggy and Bama have improved.

Petrino can run an offense.

Milroe is flawed but is learning how to play to his strengths and it seems like the players are behind him. Bama will be tough to beat moving forward.

A&M actually left Auburn guys running wide open a good bit of the game, they just had our QB seeing ghosts and running for his life.
