Bo Nix is an Auburn hero for exposing the truth about Bryan Harsin

The world maybe coming to an end, I agree with Goodman of Al.com.
Let’s get this out of the way now. Current Auburn coach Hugh Freeze gets a pass on this entire season, and the focus of every decision for his staff should be figuring out how to recruit Atlanta like Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl recruits Atlanta.......
Freeze can’t blame Harsin after this season, but everything we’re seeing on the field with Auburn’s awful offense is tied to Harsin’s wretched time on the Plains.....
Former Auburn coach Gus Malzahn had trouble recruiting offensive linemen. The most recent former Auburn coach, Harsin, apparently didn’t even know a single phone number for an offensive line recruit. Why did Nix ultimately leave Auburn for Oregon? Because he was seriously injured playing behind Auburn’s offensive line....
Nix’s legacy at Auburn is tied to Harsin, but only for this reason. Nix had to leave the team he loved to ultimately save it. He forced everyone to see how thoroughly Harsin had torn down the Tigers. For that, I’ll consider Nix an Auburn hero.
Sad but true, Nix’s greatest gift to Auburn was leaving. LINK

I hope Freeze doesn't recruit Atlanta the way Bruce does. Outside of Jabari, Bruce hasn't landed anyone ranked highly out of Atlanta lately. He's whiffed on them all.

Bo Nix definitely made the right decision. But damn I wish we had him still.

Freeze will be fine, they didn’t build Rome in a day. He has reversed the trend of recruiting and brought in some good transfers. The killer is one transfer is not playing up to the hype and it is killing us.

I said from the get go he left because of our OL. He had to for his sake and future. It was the right move and he has taken full advantage of it. Bully, Bully for Bo. I hope he wins everything this season.

Bruce built a top 25 basketball program at Auburn (which is roughly the same as building a top 10 football program at like, Mississippi State) primarily leaning on Georgia kids I think is the point.

IDK that I’d say by the end of Bo’s time at Auburn that he was leaving the program he loved to save it. It seemed at the time he was leaving a program he hated because he no longer cared for it.

I don’t think allin is suggesting Bo made a conscious decision to save Auburn by leaving. I believe he’s saying because Bo left it probably helped put focus on Harsin and expedited his firing. True or not I do not know. I honestly don’t think Bo was staying probably no matter what because the OL and WR corp sucked.

I remember people talking about how bad Bo was lmao. Pretty sure I had an argument with someone that he'd even be drafted.

Will always support Bo Nix and hope Oregon wins it all this year.
That being said, the sad truth is if Nix had stayed he would have limped the team through another season with 1-2 more games which would have been enough to keep Harsin.
I wanted Harsin to succeed, but I shudder to think where our recruiting would be at if we had the guy for another year or two and firing him was the best choice.
Bottom line, Bo is a really good quarterback, but he alone would not have been enough to change the trajectory under the last coach.

Which one? Cause there is a decent sized list that you could be referring to...
Shorter
Hooks
Maurdner
Thorne
Not Killing us but not playing up to expectations
Britton
Keys (was playing terrible prior to injury)
Fairweather

I am not sure Bo develops like he has if he stayed. He is a much different QB than what we saw.

Man you had higher expectations than I did!
Mardner, Shorter, and Thorne have underperformed but Hooks? Hooks may not be a world beater but the guy came from the SWAC... he, Jay Fair, and Fairweather appear to be our 3 best WRs. I still don't think we have an SEC caliber WR1 on the roster... we missed on the two guys who would be in Keon and Ra Ra.
Fairweather is arguably our best 1v1 WR on the team and we're probably 2-2 without him right now.
Britton is playing 2 positions and doing them both well.

Nix left to protect himself but he showed class by not trashing the program which would have been so easy. Since day 1 I have never blamed him for leaving. I still think he has deficiencies he’s not going to correct but he still a very dangerous QB. I hope he fixes some of those issues and wins the Heisman
