So what’s the deal with Arkansas? Why aren’t they better?

Past two years they’ve had the pieces to be a solid team yet have been mediocre. Is Pittman that bad?

Pittman is a good coach but he is loyal to Jefferson at QB.
Jefferson isn't a great leader like you need at QB...he is a great athlete that wants to be a QB.

For a team like them, not having the Rocket is a very, very big deal.

Lots of reasons but he's up there with top ones. 14 of our 31 points were a punt return and a 75 yard run.
So KJ was able to lead the offense to 17 points vs a defense full of 2 and 3 stars.
The O-line was trash at the end but had played decently through 3 quarters

I told everyone that the team was worse this year and no one listened.
They have regressed. A one dimensional offense and no defense. Good luck with that.
All you have to do is blitz KJ every play and they shut down.

It’s not that he’s that bad, it’s that he has HUMONGOUS TITS which as u can imagine has a negative effect on coaching

They lost Kendal Briles as OC and Barry Odom as DC. Guess the new guys aren’t worth a frick.

Bottom line. You will hear a bunch of reasons. Here it is and this is fact.
Our fan base is fricking stupid. We had an OC statistically to 10 in the country and an above average DC. The fans called for their heads the past two seasons despite a 9 win season for the first time in a decade and two bowl wins. We end up with a failed OC we already had and couldn’t run the ball when he was here last times plus a DC with no experience. You will hear a lot but this is the reason. It’s our fan base.

Arkansas upgraded the coaching from horrible to bad.
Sam is an OL coach and not a head coach.
BYU was much more disciplined and certainly a smarter team than Arkansas who looked like they goofed off during summer practices.
