Means they are going to come in hungry next weekend. Not good

How afraid were you growing up?
IMO, running alot of RPO where the QB has little to no chance of keeping the ball has a good bit to do with it.

Had LSU stayed aggressive, would've won by close to double digits. Aggressive the entire game and then spread the floor the last several minutes.

in 6th grade, age 11, my social studies teacher was a fricking smoke show - I think her name was Starla - she was probably 22 or 23

When I was 19 I had a fling with my 6th grade teacher. She was NOT a smoke show. Chubby and ugly (not fat by any means), but had great legs. Was actually a "sister" in the catholic church, but got out of that because she apparently wanted to have a family at some point. This was way before me and I never knew her as a sister. Crossed paths in college she tutored me in algebra. I saw her at the mall and talked to her...she offered to tutor me. She was 49, and this was 1995. ZERO and I mean ZERO intention in trying anything with her because, again, she was NOT at all good looking, nor would've expected anything like this from her. After a few months, she just seemed to grow vulnerable. And when I say this, she would actually wear shorts and a tee shirt instead of a blouse and pants when I would go to her apartment after awhile. She was still an elementary school teacher. Nothing excessive, but more comfortable. Legs nice, but really pale. Well one evening, she wore a light colored tee shirt with high plaid shorts. I could see her nipples clear as day and, yes, she had saggy B-ish cups. Shirt wasn't transparent, but could clearly see them. Honestly made me uncomfortable and she seemed nervous also. Got up from the table to go to the bathroom. Had a talk with myself...grew the balls and said f*ck it. Began rubbing her shoulders when I came out she didn't stop me. That was that. Went on for almost a year. I did not care as I was 19 and would nail anything. She never had kids or married. Actually died within the past few years. Never brought it up because quite frankly, I was embarrassed and didn't want anyone to make fun of me.
Never beat Christian Laettner or Duke in the PMAC. Just sayin. Did beat some serious UNLV teams tho

Are we sure about that? If I were him I sure wouldn’t.

Take this for what it’s worth, but the daughter of an LSU basketball legend is good friends with Mrs. Will Wade and told me he would come back even if LSU made him walk to BR from Lake Charles, like yesterday. Verbatim. Again, FWIW
Jesus this is becoming disturbing.

With that said, that was a great introduction. That was a great introduction.

They wanted to play hard tho
This obsession with WW is disturbing. You’re acting like LSU fired a HOF, NC winning coach. Do you all not remember the utter frustration and complaints with Wade’s “1 on 1” offense the last year he was here? Yes he was a breath of fresh air, but don’t make it seem like he was the 2nd coming.

Yep. That kid was deathly afraid of Bama. There’s a reason Lee didn’t get in on 1/9 and I really believe he wanted ZERO part of Bama that night.

I wonder when was the last time the Heisman favorite was on a preseason unranked team.

Did you not see the “way too early” preseason rankings??

Man, I remember the fun Dale Brown teams from the '80's and '90's, along with Brady's 2006 team. Yeah Dale underachieved with some SERIOUS talent, but nothing beats the '86 Final Four run and the '87 Elite Eight run (1 point away from back to back Final Fours). Plus, I was lucky enough to see Chris Jackson in person. BEST I've ever seen in the college game!!! All most of the young ones can remember Will Wade and his team's Sweet Sixteen run. Yes, Wade brought excitement back, but the 80's and early '90's were WILD!

He coached four years at NC State and had a 27-18-1 record and best finish was third in the ACC in those 4 years.

So SEC Storied lied about NC State winning the ACC in '79?

Agree, the ultimate "what might have been" at LSU. He was likely going to be our Bobby Bowden.

Very likely. But would've also been interesting following '87 when Ohio State was looking for a coach. Particularly having played them in Tiger Stadium that year.

It is funny, Brady was great with Burrow...sucked in Carolina, but is great again with Josh Allen. hmmmm

You're making ZERO sense. Yes Burrow was way better in '19, but he would've NOT won the Heisman or the NC in Ensminger's system alone in '19. Burrow even said prior to the season that they were gonna average 40, 50, 60 points a game and not huddle or go under center and no LSU fan actually believed it. That's Joe Brady. Burrow would've done alot better in '19, but it still would've been the same tired system.
