Someone show me some pros because I haven't seen anything but cons...

We've blamed the coordinators several times over. We're now blaming the QB.

It's Ballou, guys. It's always been Ballou.

Is Ballou teaching our QBs how to read a defensive set? Is he teaching them how to step up or evade a moving pocket? What about discipline on penalties. Get this shite out of here. We are an undisciplined and poorly coached football team.

I think toughness and discipline, or the lack thereof, may have some connection to the S&C program.

I think you are right. We've also had fewer injuries and have a more scientific approach to physical development, which means they probably have the data to back up continuing to go this path. Cochran was a motivator who absolutely gave us a mental edge, but also probably didn't get the physical results that our current staff gets.

Not everything lasts forever and dude didn't want to continue to be S&C, nothing we can do about that.

Just losing two starting WRs cost us the NC not long ago.

This board was moaning his name in 2020 when we were posting elite athletic results

I don't think Ballou is the issue anywhere here

Almost guarantee nobody from 2009-2020 would agree with this.

Even Marquis Maze sees it.

Something is missing in that off-season program, guys...

Less injuries. Cochran was killing us with all sorts of lower leg injuries his last couple of years. But now our guys seem soft. Not sure the trade off is worth it.

Physical results like our heaviest O line in all of current football getting pushed backwards by 3 guys?

And this won't show on some tableau dashboard but it's incredibly important...id say it's actually vital to success especially when playing comparably talented teams.

Not saying Cochran needs to return but he isn't the only one that can do that job. And he was over the top but.... That dude was pure energy on the sidelines (who now holds four fingers up the entire 4th q ?). That infectious attitude is missing. Bama seemingly has all the technical and teaching covered. Best in the business there... But no hype man and these are 18-22 yr olds

Same here. I feel as if we went too far in the other direction.

That's not true at all.

Just before the season they lost, arguably, their best RB (Brandon Robinson) to a season ending injury.

Also, one of their best WRs hasn't played a down yet because of a back injury (Ladd McConkey).

Here was the UGA injury report for Week 1:
quote:

Branson Robinson -- patella tendon, out for the season
Lawson Luckie -- ankle, out
Earnest Greene -- ankle, probable
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins -- foot, probable
Ladd McConkey -- back, probable
Smael Mondon -- foot, questionable
David Daniel-Sisavanh -- turf toe, questionable
Kendall Milton -- hamstring, questionable
Daijun Edwards -- MCL sprain, questionable
Kamari Lassiter -- foot, questionable
Jackson Meeks -- foot, questionable
De’Nylon Morrissette -- groin, questionable
Raylen Wilson -- knee, doubtful
Joenel Aguero -- hamstring, doubtful
Chris Peal -- turf toe, doubtful

LINK

They also lost Javon Bullard in their last game against Ball State.

I know some of our folks don't like the Nike cleats. Jawja uses them as well.

I blame the bus drivers. We were much tougher when we were riding with Thrasher Bros.
