Carolina fans love their Cocks and are a really really loyal fanbase. Even the one time they were good about 12-15 years ago, they still managed not to be obnoxious about it.
But on the other hand Carolina was starting to get annoying on the recruiting trail with some of the top 2025 Georgia kids, so I was pulling for North Carolina. Why ever root for a team that tries to steal your team's recruiting targets? That's the most pragmatic way to think about it.

I was pleased to hear that starting next year we get assigned South Carolina as our permanent rival and lose Mississippi State. Nice to know our schedule will be easier in that regard.

It's just really not a good look for South Carolina fans and Kentucky fans to talk trash to each other and become embroiled in a testicular radius contest. It doesn't work and comes across as a Jimmy vs. Timmy fight and should be avoided at all costs.

Oh yeah, you guys worked us during Spurrier’s tenure. You won 9 out of 11 during that span. Now we’re well on the way to returning the favor. The coach that’s continually eating your lunch ain’t going anywhere for a long time, so you have a lot more arse whoopins to look forward to.

Yes and I was there.
Spending the day in uptown Charlotte was annoying in that there were SC fans EVERYWHERE - screaming "basketball schoool" in my face. Our folks didn't arrive until 15 minutes before game time.
