He might end up being a great QB for Bama for all i know, but many QBs nationally could do that against middle Tennessee. Pump the brakes.

Look I agree with what you are saying on it being MTSU and I want to see him do it again vs Texas.
That being said I dont think alot of QBs could pull this off and thats what the excitement is stemming from

Nervous aboht sark? Hahaha. No way. Saban will school that fraud. I dread going into the SEC with that guy leading us it's going to be bad

Comparing UTrans to App state….. that’s probably pretty applicable
Sort of, Texas has only beaten aggy 67% of the time while Appalachian State has beaten aggy 100%.

Thankfully Sark is Texas' head coach. He'll find a way to frick it up and lose.

As much as I am against any potentially decent P5 opponent.

He can definitely move around well. I hate playing against mobile quarterbacks.

Not nervous at all. The UT OL will once again not be able to generate a running game and The King of CFB is better on the back end of the D this year. Caleb Downs finna eat.

Absolutely. 60/40 ball game

Really living dangerously going out on this branch

The same problems we had before Sark arrived are the same problems we have now
He’s improved our OL. But given how atrocious it was towards the end of Mack’s tenure on, that ain’t saying much. They’ll have to play better this week for us to have any chance.

So will the shorthorns. Jalen is going to demand a spy, sooner or later. Texas will want to get into their soft coverage and keep BAMA speed in front of them. So having to put a spy on Milroe is going to demand a man-to-man look. Jalen Milroe will be creating defensive coverages that will take additional manpower. Advantage BAMA.

Are they struggling with their communications?
They sure did last Saturday. And, that was at home…against Rice. It didn’t give me the warm fuzzies about going on the road in a hostile night environment.

This is about where I am. Texas has a good, maybe great team, but Sark and Ewers will have question marks until they can learn how to get it done when it matters.
If Sark figures how to win the close games.. watch out, cause he is doing everything else right so far..
Texas #1 problem for a decade has been playing up or down to the opponent.. so we should show up either way this week.
TBD which way it goes from there..
I think Texas is a good bet to cover the 7, but not sure if we’ll pull out the W.

Luckily for Texas I didn't see any drastic improvement on the Bama Dline from last year. But also unfortunately for them, the pressures that were getting home for Bama Saturday didn't come from the 12th row of the stands like last year. I expect the UT OLine to play a much better game than they did against Rice.

Yes, because BAMA can't lose this game. Seeing that Texas at Austin will be in the league next year, BAMA needs to put them in their place. And that is you ain't one of us yet.

Yes. Still don't know what we really have at this point.
This. We played a solid game all the way around in week 1 which was very encouraging, but this game is going to show us what we really have. I'm glad this one is at home. Being home will really help Milroe with managing the game. Texas was rowdy as hell last year.

How UT handles the trip will be interesting. UT isnt visiting some 50k dump in the Big 12 Sat night

They better. Highly rated, experienced & deeper. I’m eager to see how they come out, because Texas’ success is going to rest on their shoulders and there’s no excuses left.

I agree, for two reasons.
1) Sark will call plays differently to specifically avoid the rush and get the ball out quicker
2) Some of the dog and pony stunts Rice ran at us were pretty creative imo.. we made the adjustments at halftime and it was fine after that
