Heupel would have won a national championship with LSU's roster last year and would definitely have found a real QB in the portal instead of trotting Daniels' frail arse out there.

According to 247 LSU had the 8th most talented team in the nation last year and the 7th most this year.

This is a coaching problem not a talent and depth issue.

We have a stud at qb he's just riding the bench. We also lost another stud to the portal. Some reason Kelly thinks he owes it to Daniels to keep him in

I like that Chicken has made the SEC a retard- safe- zone for chirpy rodents like the OP.

LSU is kinda like Auburn. A 7-5 or 8-4 team with a decent bowl game then once a decade - on average - compete for and win a national championship. With all the native talent in-state LSU should have been a dynasty many times over. But they haven’ been. At least Auburn has an in-state rival to blame. LSU has no excuse.

You are right that our secondary is down by LSU standards, but you don't do them any favors by rushing 3 and dropping your best pass rusher into coverage for the majority of the game.

This is what you get with Brian Kelly. He draws up a plan, and then that's the plan. It'll either work, or it won't. I've watched it for years.

He's not the guy for Baton Rouge. But, it'll take a few seasons for it to all work itself out.

Yeah yeah yeah. I've heard that line before. Problem is, you're not 2008 Alabama that just beat the shite out of Clemson on opening night.

Same as last year. LSU lost to FSU and went on to have a successful season.

Last year it was a competitive game, though.

Serious answer, we forget it and move on. It was just one game, and LSU knows it’s talented enough to play with any team in the country, they just have to settle down and execute better. All of the mistakes yesterday are fixable and our coaches are good enough to learn from that shitshow.

I, for one, will not be partaking in the making fun of LSU until the end of the year. There is a long time between now and then.

AKA the Auburn model.

Auburn is not the state school and competes in the same state as bama. We have built in disadvantages. The same can't be said for LSU..........but cope however you must.
