Watching the CMU/MSU game, and CMU had the ball damn near the entire first quarter.

Rich men in the suits always screwing up what’s good.

I noticed last night the quarters were flying by. I hate the new first down won't stop the clock until under 2 mins rule.

It was the commercials and the reviews that drag the game out.

I mean the clock still stops for out of bounds, incomplete passes and spiking the ball, right?

I agree.

Not stopping the clock after first downs suck. It means both teams'first string players don't get a chance to rest and that more second string players will have to play. Also, a team that has a long drive will run out more of the clock.

As far as I know. But the game seems much shorter, and idk why people want that. If I’m not anting to be entertained then I want the game to be as long as possible. But that’s just my 3 cents

It’s such a dumb rule change. This and the OT rules are both ridiculous.

I really think it's as much about cutting down the total number of plays a game as much as it is about shortening the time of a game. Some O's are running 80 plus plays a game. That's a lot of hits for OL/DL.

I thought I was going to hate it but I love it. It’s gonna make it a lot harder for blowouts to happen and the games don’t drag.

It stops until ball is set then resumes. Under 2 minutes it stops until next snap

Coming back now has to be a new strategy. The art of using the sideline will have to become more important.

I'm thinking that you guys are in the minority about wishing that games were still 4 hours long. There's a reason why movies aren't 4 hours long. Human beings only have so much ability to focus on something.

Enough fans griped about it for so long that they finally did something. The only thing I like more about the NFL is the length of the games. It was much more consumable. Thank god college football finally did something.

Just wait until the injuries start piling up from fatigue.

Fatigue typically leads to more injuries. Guys don’t have the opportunity to catch a breather between downs, they get more fatigued. More fatigue = sloppier form and injuries.
