OL: UPGRADE
RB: UPGRADE
WR: Slightly Better
DL: UPGRADE
LB: UPGRADE
DB: UPGRADE
QB: downgrade.
Plus Steele and Rees can’t possibly be worse than their predecessors.
I honestly think if QB is just competent we are gonna win the National Title

I agree other than runningback. Gibbs might be even better than we thought
Only way we’re better is if Jace and Roydell make big jumps as they continue to recover from knee injuries and Haynes has a Ingram, Trent, Yeldon kind of impact as a freshman

Miller is really good. I expect big things out of him.

DVed just for the RB ranking. Gibbs was a HR hitter and weapon in the passing game. Until someone proves themselves we have a downgrade there.
Everything else, yup.

Agree. RB is close, but this year has more horses and more diversity in style!

Really excited about Steele.

I’ve heard OL is much better actually

rb, hmm.. gibbs vs the room. gibbs was electric. not sure we have that this year, wait n see.
the room, overall depth and quality. most of the room is capable of carrying the load. i do think blocking by rb's will be better.
pick your poison. homerun hitter or just point and send'em in.

Gibbs was an excellent back but I think he is oversold a bit by some. We have certainly had better backs in the past and a few were much better in my opinion. I think between the 3 returners and the new RB it is a huge upgrade.

This isn't a good way to look at things.
Team chemistry and coaching are probably the 2 biggest factors aside from overall raw talent.
Last year had some really talented guys as we know, but the team chemistry and coaching was terrible

The team had great chemistry last year.
Just because you lose some games doesn’t mean you have chemistry issues. The team last year played their absolute arse off in games the coaches were screwing up.
The seniors and NFL guys also played in the bowl game. Every single one of them.

The most important upgrades are the coordinators.

Good point. Those guys playing the bowl game was something else.
