Weird to say it but the position group I'm most looking forward to seeing game 1 is the Oline... feels like it's been a while since we seriously recruited Olinemen.

I think Lew will compete for a OG spot. I hope Wright can get healthy because I don’t think I can watch Stutts start all year.

Could it be all transfers start?

I think he's competing also, but I can't see him beating out stutts, wright, or even muskrat based on how poorly he performed last year in the sample size he gave. His PFF grades were abysmal and his on the field performance reflected that. He's a tough Auburn man who has apparently shown tough grit and steady improvement, but we'd be in trouble if he was one of our starters. No disrespect to him personally of course

This looks correct

Wade Wright Jones Stutts Britton
Langlo Johnson Lew Muskrat Miller

Not that I think we go 10 deep but I think for practice purposes.

Doesn't seem like they all will be, but the tackles and center look locked in as transfers. TE as well.

Could a Muskrat catch the Beaver’s eye?

I think we will be mean upfront. I also think every practice is a tryout for your position.

Looks like Freeze is loading the O-line with depth. Sandbagging the O-line with real depth seems like the cure for the failures of the last few years.

I really hope Muskrat works out well for many reasons…one in particular, is that Jaden Muskrat is my favorite Auburn O-line “name” since King Dunlap

Anyone know if Bradyn Joiner is going to be on the OL or DL?

I know he played both in HS but went back to mainly OL at Auburn HS his senior year. I can't remember if he was recruited as OL or DL since he committed so early and stuck.

King Dunlap

He's been back to back guest on the Raw Room podcast with Darren Bates and he had some great little AU nuggets about redshirt workouts with coach Yox, Brandon Jacobs being the wedge buster on KO because our RB room was so loaded, mentions of the Supper Club .

I don't really watch podcasts, but I sat down and watched his episodes on YouTube. If anyone has the time, it's worth a listen.

So today it would be:

T: Miller
G: Stutts
C: Jones
G: Britton
T: Wade

Wade, Wright, Avery, Stutts, Britton

They moved around some in practice and much ado about Britton playing guard and Miller at tackle. Miller is definitely the number 3 tackle so he needs reps. Britton can play all positions on the line including center. Muskrat can play guard or tackle (I dont know about center). And Lew can play center and guard.

Always good to have backups. I remember one game during the Bowden era we went through three or four centers in one game with injuries.
