Current and future SEC states ranked by Obesity levels:
Kentucky (2)
Alabama (3)
Oklahoma (4)
Mississippi (5)
Arkansas (6)
Louisiana (7)
Missouri (10)
South Carolina (13)
Texas (14)
Tennessee (19)
Georgia (26)
Florida (46)
SEC States ranked by smoking levels:
Kentucky (2)
Arkansas (3)
Mississippi (4)
Tennessee (5)
Oklahoma (8)
Alabama (9)
Louisiana (12)
South Carolina (13)
Missouri (15)
Georgia (23)
Florida (28)
Texas (38)
SEC States ranked in order of Poorest to Wealthiest by nominal GDP per capita
Mississippi (1)
Arkansas (2)
Alabama (4)
South Carolina (5)
Kentucky (7)
Oklahoma (10)
Louisiana (12)
Florida (15)
Missouri (17)
Tennessee (20)
Georgia (25)
Texas (37)
My biggest takeaway is that West Virginia, which ranks, 1,1 and 3 in these ratings definitely should be an expansion candidate.

I don't believe this for a second.

Different methodologies for these surveys yield all kinds of different results. I saw another list where Florida was the #24 slimmest state- quite different than being the 5th slimmest as this one shows.
I do know Tennessee used to be one of the fattest states, but recent economic growth & domestic migration from more affluent areas has slowed the increase in obesity. Same could certainly be said for Georgia, given its recent tremendous economic growth.

Florida being less wealthy than Missouri, Georgia and Tennessee is surprising

Lot of destitute weirdos in Florida. Also very easy to live on very little in January in Florida compared to January in Missouri.

Is being a normal weight associated with liberalism now?

Georgia and Tennessee are probably right but Florida is likely full of shite.

From 10 years ago.. actual obesity levels were about 9.3% points higher than reported..
In other states.. the actual rates were the same or lower than reported.
So.. Florida's true obesity probably ranks it tied for 10th with Missouri.

All it takes to see that these overweight/obesity percentages are bullshite is looking around.
Go to any Wal-Mart in the South and tell me if less than 2/3rds of people are not obese.
The problem is that people don't know what obese or overweight is anymore. You see it every time an obesity thread is posted on the OP. This is the true fat acceptance, not a landwhale on the cover of Cosmopolitan saying "This is Healthy!"

Wal-Mart is representative of the American rural & urban lower class, which are by far the most obese socioeconomic groups. The U.S. is a fat and gross country now, but I wouldn't make generalizations about the entire population based on visits to Wal-Mart and Dollar General.

Bro, around 140,000,000 Americans shop at Wal-Mart annually. I don't think it's limited to any one particular class or area.
Secondly, what more do you need to see? Almost every state has an obesity rate of greater than 30%, according to the CDC.

The really big ones sit in the car in the handicapped spot while someone else goes in to grab their twinkies.

Mine is that Texas is the superior SEC state.

The only downside to it is that you can find havens of liberal bullshite in Texas - like in Austin, for example. Now, if you can enjoy the better health and wealth while not having to live in the blue hell of places like Austin - well, that would pretty much be heaven.

Or you can be a real American and let people live however and wherever they want. There are tons of "havens" for both liberals and conservatives all over the state. It's big enough for everyone.

I would be okay with the blue hells if they were still liberal. The problem is that liberals aren't liberal anymore. Try going to an Austin city council and saying out loud that it's physically impossible for anyone to change their sex, and see how cool they are with letting you live however you want.

Leftists want to let you live however you want - unless you don't want to make them a cake for their transition party - then they want the state to come in and shut your business down.
Leftists want to let you live however you want - unless you want to post in favor a Trump presidency on Twitter - then they want to run fake news about how you're a Russian bot.
Leftists want to let you live however you want - unless you think marriage is between a man and a woman, then they want you doxed online and want your business shuttered.
Leftists want to let you live however you want - unless you want to make a movie about child sexual trafficking, then they want to call you a nut job and ruin your reputation.

Found this shocking. Genuinely would have thought Florida richer than us and Missouri richer than TN.

One of my favorite things about rants like this is that you are going to pay good money to go watch your football team this fall...
Like all D1 teams, your team chock full of "leftists"....
Well except for MAYBE the QB, a couple of O linemen, the kicker, the punter, and the deep snapper.
