2023 will be the season that
@AggieFootball
puts it all together.

Here's why:

#1 - Hiring Bobby Petrino as OC

Petrino knows how to score points and he will have more talent at his disposal than he's ever had in his career.

#2 - Elite Roster

A&M brought in the #1 recruiting class in the country and their roster is littered with talent. They also got rid of 30-some players this offseason via the transfer portal, most of which were backups or role players.

The 2022 recruiting class will be put to the test and I believe their talent will prevail -- especially on the defensive side.

#3 - QB Conner Weigman

The former 5-star QB played well down the stretch last year -- 8 TDs without an interception.

#4 - Offensive Line Returns

OL coach Steve Addazio is a legend and I believe in his ability to develop.

All 5 starters are returning, and I've been impressed with C Bryce Foster, RG Layden Robinson, and RT Reuben Fatheree III.

#5 - Top WR Room in the SEC

Noah Thomas, Evan Stewart and Ainas Smith are incredible.

2 5-star & 2 4-star WR’s committed already for 2024 class. This will be the best room in the country next year.

#6 - Defense!!

The #1 pass defense in 2022 returns and D-Line is one of the best in the country.

DL Coach Elijah Robinson is the next big thing in coaching (former Nittany Lion).

#7 - 4 Head Coaches on Staff

Jimbo Fisher, Bobby Petrino, Steve Addazio and DJ Durkin.

BOTTOM LINE: The pieces are there for Texas A&M to make a playoff run this year.

If I was an Aggie fan, this would be the last chance for Jimbo. No doubt all the pieces are there for a playoff run. If he can't do it this season, time to move on.

Assuming no renegotiating of his fully-guaranteed contract, boosters would need to pony up nearly $77 million.

Here's a thought, wait until you've won the games to brag about them.

Posting the predictions of a college football analyst is bragging?

Your players, fans, coaches, etc appear unwilling to put in the work before receiving the prize. You want to be viewed as the best without winning the games. If your players aren’t putting in the work this off-season, none of the shot you listed matters.

You’ve been to A&M workouts?

What work should we fans put in?

Every dork in this thread never misses an A&M game, feels good. I don’t even watch their teams play unless it’s a ranked vs ranked game.

Has not been an offensive coordinator since 2002.

So they lost a lot of depth.

A bunch of true sophomores.

Not sure what 2024 recruits have to do with the upcoming season.

Career 55.3% passer.

Most Aggies wanted him fired.

I remember when this was an Alabama talking point after Doug Marrone and BoB were hired.
