We didn't care about that bowl game and all our good players were out.
Am I doing it right?

Didn't you have a losing record after the bowl game? Not sure there were many good players to sit.

So is Chip speculating or did someone leak prior to the announcements tonight?

The irony is horn is getting their 3 projected rivals if we had done 3 permanent rivals (OU, A&M, Arkansas), and either Bama or Georgia every other year. It’s literally the schedule horn should expect year in, year out.

I wonder if someone's running a canary trap on Chip's source.
Playing A&M and Arkansas is desired and expected. But going on the road to both strikes me as odd. Especially when we most recently played each one on the road.
In the short term I don't mind, but long term I'd rather play one on the road and one in Austin every year.

He now understands the depths of their tObsession. We won't lose again.
Yeah . . .that was it. It had nothing to do with that team being a sh%tty 5-7 squad that lost six games in a row including being blown out by Iowa State and losing to Kansas at home.

Chip also gets pole-axed (his words) from time to time.
I figured he would scale it back after his disasterous reporting on conference re-alignment when A&M bolted from the B12.
Better to confirm with more reliable sources.

"Not trying to troll, but a road game against Arkansas does not really make a schedule seem difficult. Should have just noted at Michigan and against Georgia"
Maybe not for LSU but UT ought to be shiiting their pants. Not only will they have the team to contend with, but the hate from the fans will make it tougher than playing at the Big House for sure. Georgia hasn't played them enough either to store up the bitterness we have for the horns.
Don't get me wrong, the horns might win, but they'll be bloodied and wonder what they did to make us so pissed.

For the older generation it is legendary, even to those with no UA or UT ties. JFB and DR were icons and that played a huge role in the series, even if it has been lopsided.
We'll probably never even get close to narrowing the gap of UT wins over the Hogs but I'd bet it doesn't get any wider. Obviously, UT is the game we circle every year and it'll be dang tough for y'all to win many games in Fayetteville.

It was only 4 yards away from working, too

It's always been interesting to me how some teams just have the number of others.
Texas Tech had Texas A&M's number in the Big 12 and Mississippi State does in the SEC. Mike Leach effect.
KSU won 9 of 13 against us from 1998 to 2016. TCU is 8-3 against us since joining the Big 12. Bevo scared of the color purple?
Texas A&M (almost) never loses to Arkansas, even though most games were close. Missouri also inexplicably always beats them. Not too crazy, Arkansas just sucks against anyone except us.

Not really. Still have a pretty good lead on them all time. They went on that huge streak post-Petrino motorcycle crash when the program was stuck in hell until Pittman.
With Mizzou, we started playing them at the worst time in program history.
But yeah, we sucked against everyone from 2012 through 2020

Is for Texas. Texas was shook when they visited Fayetteville last

Two of the loudest games that I have been to are the 2004 Texas and 2021 Texas at home.
