I hung around for a while because I was comfortable in my home town of Mandeville, because it had an educated population and was fairly "Un-Louisiana" like.
Left after Katrina and except for a small "Relapse" in Baton Rouge (Missed being close to LSU and local food) we haven't been back except for a day or two for a big game.
The dumb ones are the life long residents that didn't attend college and have no plans to move out of their mediocre paradise.
