Some other LSU fans get real excited about these conference matchups.
At least that is what they've been telling me, today.

I don’t know if we will ever have another night game

Last year, UGA's 48-7 win over SCar@Columbia on ESPN's 12 noon slot had a viewership of 3 million. This year's national telecast on CBS in 3:30pm slot in Athens should draw significantly more.
Georgia is among the top 3 most-watched programs on TV (Alabama and Ohio State the other two) and CBS is taking advantage of this whatever way they can this year.
Back in 2013, the #11 ranked Dawgs beat Spurrier's #6 ranked Gamecocks, 41-30, and that game had a viewership of over 7 million. We'll see if it gets back up there this year as this could be the last year the Dawgs & Gamecocks meet on an annual basis.

Yeah, that crazy new lighting system is kind of seeming like a waste, but I’ll be there either way. Go Dawgs!

There's a chance for the Ole Miss game if CBS takes LSU/UF for 3:30 on 11/11.

Only other Saturday game pre set at 3:30 in the SEC is the WLOCP in Jax. UGA-UF. That’s why the game is never moving permanently.

What other SEC vs SEC games are on Sept 16 that you think are more interesting?

Tenn at Florida, could be a good game honestly. I can see those fan bases making a case for that 3:30 spot.
LSU at State. Eh. Nobody wants to hear those cowbells for hours on the broadcast, CBS knows this.
Those are the only two other sec matchups that weekend.

Might as well pencil in LSU - Bama game, when was the last time that game wasn't the CBS 3:30 game?

Lol!!! Neither team has a chance to win SEC. This will be some low level football here. Boring!!

Again
LSU fans are telling me how important UGA vs South Carolina is on the front page of the rant.
These are the types of "better content" arguments that they are making over UGA vs Clemson and South Carolina vs UNC.

We good. Would much rather play at night in the Swamp in mid-September.
