My personal favorite is Sushi House in Bentonville. It's a company town sushi place. They do not frick around. Within 90 seconds of walking in the door you'll have a seat, a drink, a bowl of miso and a sample roll. And this is even if the place is packed.
Funny enough my parents know the owners of that place. I went once and it's insane to watch those people work. The sushi spot downtown I'd say is just as good as any place I used to go in Dallas. We have a better hibachi restaraunt than Dallas, too. Because they don't have any

I used to live walking distance from Bottoms Up, and I'm still mad at myself for never walking into that dive. But I was working nightshift the whole time I was there.

Bentonville has become the poster city of SWPL. It will be amazing to see what's there in five years time.

Lots and lots of ethnic food up here if that is your thing. Except for good fried chicken damn it. One or two places have good fried chicken and the rest sucks.
Do yall even have seafood restaurants up there?

The Flying Fish is really good for a more casual meal and Blu Fish House can hang with any restaraunt I've been to for seafood. They also have good sushi.

Catfish John's is pretty good.

If you've never been, Catfish Hole is one of those places you have to try.
It's closely linked with the Razorbacks as most of the coach's shows are broadcast from there.

EMC > Catfish Hole.
I realize that is blasphemy.
While I'm at it, Foghorns isn't all that great, either.

I went to the Catfish Hole last year and the first time ever left disappointed.
The catfish has always been mediocre but isn't what made that place really good.
It was the fixings such as the relish, cole slaw and those hush puppies dipped in honey butter sauce that made that place.
But I saw a change. They made the hush puppies smaller like the ones you buy at the store and the honey butter sauce was free in previous visits but they charged 75 cents for it and I thought that was weird because I have been going for years and they never charged for that.
I got my plate and I kinda stared at it and I noticed the catfish fillets were smaller than usual and they cut down on the fries.
Then they raised the prices and well I got less food and paid higher prices and the the experience was a little depressing because I had always rated that place highly on places to eat.

Thoughts on NWA eating
- Pho 85 in Bville and Typhoon in Fville for Vietnamese
- Sushi House = GOAT
- I seem to recall that Foghorns was decent a decade ago, but has gone downhill recently. Still like to go there after baseball games until traffic calms down.
- Catfish Hole: overrated
- Monte Ne is good
- Feed and Folly is good
- Big fan of Wright’s BBQ
- Pizzeria Ruby: best pizza

Solid list.
Pho Kitchen in Rogers on Walnut is pretty solid, but kinda new.
Agree with most of the rest of the list. Pizzeria Ruby is great. The Well Met Cafe next door is a killer place for healthy breakfast and just overall good experience and vibes. Its definitely like a place you'd find in L.A. or Seattle or somewhere. The interior is worth a visit. The Onyx Coffee folks did that concept, and everything they touch is top notch.

I believe the same folks are behind City Park, a new mostly outdoor restaurant off Leverett in the college-student ghetto area. I've enjoyed Nomad's trailside near there, and Columbus House brewery and Fossil Cove brewery.
The places I go most in Fayetteville are places like that, off the beaten path that out of towners won't stumble upon. The selection of neighborhood microbreweries here is outstanding now. My Walker Park buddies always wanna hit up Crisis Brewing and Penguin Eds.
There's a new one behind Farmer's Table near 15th and School called Mad Rooster which I haven't been to yet.
Boston Mtn Brewing is the closest to my house.

Downtown Rogers has some great local restaurants. One of my favorites is the burger joint, Parkside. Can’t go wrong with the rail either.
