Tommy White has to be the scariest and easiest hitter to strike out that has ever existed.
First pitch should not even be close to a strike and you will get a swing. Then throw a low ball for another swing. After that it is home run or strike out....

I get Tommy is a great hitter, but he should be forced to take the first pitch. More times than not it is an easy out because the teams know he is swinging.
Larson crushed a 3-1 pitch, yet Tommy never gets in that count....

Not trying to throw shade on Arkansas, but I do not think they are as good as their ranking and stats. Majority of their SEC slate has been at home so far and currently their series wins have been over Mizzou, Ole Miss, LSU, and Auburn. Hell for as bad as we have played, we had a legit shot in all 3...

All I hear from Arkansas fan is “Can you believe we got Cal!!!?” They are pumped from what I am hearing locally.
It’s laughable as 2/3 years ago they were talking about how overrated and a POS he was....

I’ll make it really simple. Older fans like yourself hate Texas as that was your true rival. Once Arkansas joined the SEC, the hate you have for Texas was applied to LSU by the younger generation of Hog fans.

You might not believe it, but it is true and you should poll your friends. I moved to NWA when I was in 6th grade and over the last 15ish years I have never experienced a worse fan base. The general Arkansas fan will go out of their way to talk shite about LSU anywhere & any time.

Hog Pen is in the outfield…basically it is first come first serve and will get rowdy, just an FYI.
I live in NWA and can confirm Wrights is a great place to get BBQ. I would recommend you go to Rogers/Bentonville to stay and eat your meals. Fayetteville is good, but is still a college town.
