I get that, but the path of the throw took him there and forced Curiel way wide…you gotta take that into account. I get the rules today don’t, but we have been screwed over in those same exact situations.
It was a force out, contact was going to be made in that situation 100%, Catcher dropped the damn ball, he is safe. Curiel was trying to get his hands to the plate…bad ruling either interpreted or by the rule itself.

Milam, Curiel, Stanny, and Brown are just about the only players on this team of LSU caliber at the moment. The rest are major liabilities or arnt fully there yet as freshmen.

He was blocking the lane prior to the ball being there. Interference needs to be clearly defined because it has been called many different ways.

Thought getting their asses to them was enough to figure it out, guess not. Any relief pitcher that walks a guy in less than 5 pitches needs to be insta benched moving forward
