Well except for the fact that Kelly beat Alabama in the first year of a rebuild while it took Jimbo 4 seasons to do it.

Afraid not. I specifically remember Kelly telling the national TV audience that the only way his team was beating BAMA is if they don't come back in the second half. And then we beat him down again in a semi.

I'm speaking to his time at LSU.
How elated would you have been to win the West in Saban's first year of a rebuild as opposed to barely breaking .500 and losing to Louisiana Monroe?
