Angel Reese interviewed live on SportsCenter

Good to see one of the stars of the national champions celebrated on ESPN this morning. Some highlights:
1. LSU will visit the White House.
2. Reese’s life has been fun, but crazy since winning the title.
3. Interviewer raised fact that Angel’s popularity online has skyrocketed.
4. Reese thanked support from so many, including Lebron James and Louisiana’s own lil Wayne.
5. Said she is proud of her family’s success this season (cousin Hawkins at UCONN and brother at Maryland) and hopes to see Hawkins at the White House.
6. She was happy and proud to hear how much the Final Four teams raised the national stature of women’s basketball.
Overall, Angel was clearly a very poised and pleasant young woman in the interview.

That was cringey as hell. The whole time ESPN was trying to make WBB relevant. It only got halfway relevant because of the Iowa chick. No one will remember Angel Reese in 3 years.
