The basketball tournament is perfection

It crowns a true champion unlike other sports. They don't put teams in based off recruiting rankings, past years performance, etc. You have to actually earn it.

Any Team can step up on any given day and beat anyone ! With one and your gone play, I’m not sure if it results in truly the Best team winning the Championship. It is entertaining however !

That is the argument...does it truly crown the best team? No...but is the best team deserving if they can't win it? IMO no. There is no better way to crown a more deserving team. I personally feel like championships should be earned. If you have 2 teams in the final and one would beat the other 99 out of 100 times but on that given day the other team won that 1 percent chance....That team is the TRUE National Champion.

Agreed. But if Texas loses, I'll change my mind and complain that it's a horrible way to determine the best team.

Auburn won't have to worry about earning a title, but it sho'nuff will cheat for it.

It is an amazing tournament. Not sure if it is the best way to crown a “season-long” champion, but that’s ok. The tournament doesn’t need to be that. Sports are ultimately entertainment for fans, and learning experiences/lessons for players, and the tournament achieves both of those things excellently.
Hell look at college football, it was more fun before the only measure of a good season was being 1 of 4 teams left playing.

Not really…..playoff’s only give you the hot team. The Year the Patriots went undefeated the only game they lost was the Super Bowl to the Giants. The Giants weren’t the best team IMO, just the hot one….
