Saban is scared of Oats taking away some NIL money.

Only reason Saban fired that shot. He is worried Oats on court success will start us giving Oats more NIL money and cutting into what NIL money Saban gets

If you think Saban and scared of the basketball program, cutting into his NIL money, then you don’t know Saban.. and I’m more of an Alabama Fan then you are lol....

I totally agree and it has been this way since day one. Nick Saban invented NIL and perfected it to a fine art years ago.

More likely that Saban is scared that he won’t be able to sweep his own players’ crimes under the rug as easily with all the increased media attention the basketball team has brought onto the collusion and corruption of the Tuscaloosa PD.

have you ever heard him speak? he never talks about titles/winning. he talks constantly about daily decisions and gradual improvement and the process.

It wasn't just a shot at Oats.. It was a shot at the entire University, the BOT , the President and Brandon Miller.
If I was the AD, Nick could either clarify his words publicly or go watch the ducks shite in the yard. I'm dead serious btw.
He threw the entire institution that he works for under the bus. I don't care if he's won 20 National Championships, he not bigger than the University.
