I thought we beat them by 18 the last time we played?

You about to get hit with “no one cares about wins in Auburn Arena (even though it’s not called that any more)”

I cant think of a single team more relevant than Bama. Another concept that should be relevant: NCAA tournaments. What gerrymandered measuring stick are you using? Torvik metrics?

Bama is our In- State Rivals, first off. They literally fired two coaches to compete with what Pearl was doing

Secondly, and most importantly, Auburn, and Bama jockeying for power in the SEC is evident in the conference championship banners. Oats has a winning record against Pearl and its not getting any easier with them having two all American front court players coming. Nut up

Tuff comparisons have to happen.

Kinda like Alabama’s AD putting them in the weak arse region they were in. Maybe we just need to get our AD on the selection committee.

Front court players don’t matter. Or so I’ve been told. Who is replacing Sears?

I remember my immediate reaction to seeing their bracket was “wow I could see literally any 2 teams in that elite 8 game”

Their front court players is why I wanted Auburn to meet them again and steal one back.

I mean they took care of business, but I’m still baffled how we were supposedly 15 overall and they were 16. It doesn’t add up.

in basketball? Kentucky for one.

Auburn fans that compare everything to bama are little bro as frick. They are not the gold standard in basketball. Kentucky is. And they are on the struggle bus too, but do you see their fans comparing Cal to Oates? Nope. Just the shitty posters

Tip your cap to their success, but dont dog Auburn when we have been stacking 20 win seasons and NCAA tournaments bids and hanging banners and winning championships

You damn straight.....Only one team is going to win it al. Only 4 make it to the Final 4.

Neither one of us is Basketball Bluebloods.

It has ripped my soul them making it to the Final 4. It was the one thing that we could hold over them.

I mean...I guess but they have largely sucked as well in both tournaments, performing unlike a blue blood ever since 2019.

We have to see what they are doing and raise our game or else Bama takes the greatness of Bruce away. We dont want that. Bruce will tell you himself you have to beat Bama.

Most Auburn fans seem content with winning quad 2 and 3 home games with a loud arena. Not many seem to care about the quad 1 games that Bruce consistently can’t win.

You realize that your boys in Turdscaloosa have won less Q1 games than AU this year, right?

dumb as frick take right there. Bama cant take away the championships, the banners, the All Americans, etc. To suggest that bama's success somehow erases our own is fricking moronic to the core.

Sounds like Auburn is going after Myles Rice (WSU) and JP Pegues the hardest at guard in the portal right now.

No championships can get taken away, Chex. Oats already factually has just as many final fours and championships as bruce at Auburn, more sweet 16 banners, and so on. Oats already leads in head to head. If Oats starts lapping then listen to the howls I dare you. Stidham intensified. I am always right and you are always wrong and a welch.

Can acknowledge it’s important for Auburn to beat Alabama and be better than Alabama without acting like Oats is the beacon of college basketball and we need to add 29 shooters to the team to have a prayer to ever compete with Basketball Lord Oats

He aint no beacon, but he did take away our we got Bruce card. Bruce needs to flex and Yale wasnt flexing. His NCAA t exits are a clear trend.

No, but we have to hold serve and SEC tourney banners obviously aren't impressing anyone save Auburn fans.

You can acknowledge that Bruce has done a masterly job at Auburn and that his attitude toward recruiting the guard spot isn't working out. Some of that is certainly bad luck, but some of it is going after players who aren't physically ready for this level and hanging all your hopes on them. If we want to keep Oats from being Lord Basketball in this state, I hope Bruce adjusts.

Your soul?

It’s a game played by mercenaries.

I’ve had my soul ripped. It did not involve sports.

There are more important things in life.

I hate losing, but I don’t play or coach the game.
I wish we had advanced, but it is what it is.
